Intervain's Sketchbook

super nice.

Beautiful work! Do you plan on texturing /lighting the piece (after the challenge) ? I feel you could take it beyond the painting! :+1: .

Looks great!

Wow, what a great piece. Thanks for showing the wire. I guess you could have done the whole fireplace in projection master. Only crit would be that the cat could interact with the scene better.

Amazing work Magdalena! You did a beautiful job in her, it’s one of the nicest models I’ve seen and it has your distinctive style. I love the curls, the layers of the dress and her face and also the small details in the environment.

I echo what every1 else said, amazing work and refreshingly distinct style, I could tell it was yours immediately when i saw it!

Keep inspiring!

Sweet, moody work once again Magdalena  you’ve got your own different style from all the “orc lovers” in here

They are very good all your work, excellent, congratulations, very good, a big hug!!!

Nattawat_OBBI - thanks

Stephenrminkin - thank you. The stripes are sculpted using a texture. I projected all of them using ZApplink [the sculpting of this was mostly, though not entirely!, done in 3.1] so they wouldn’t stretch too much and would look good from all directions, I then saved the texture, made an alpha, masked the geometry by alpha and used inflate function in the deformation tab:)

DiscoStu - thanks a lot. Not too sure about that though - there’s quite a few good final entries

Lovely sculpting !

Love the hat

Brilliant!

Regards, M.

I find the details very well balanced and appealing. I really don’t see how the face is overlooked. What could you do more? sculpt pores? The forms look good to me and a smooth surface draws attention onto it because of the patterns that are around. Actually now that I analyze it more, there is a very nice composition in that area with the patterns pointing towards the face, the framing and the elements that converge onto it.

hahaha… wow! magdalena. that is awesome.
your sense of detail and your style is priceless. great.
ohh! congrats on the fullpage. looked cool, in the preview pages.
