Thank you so much everyone - glad you like them
savagliani - no pressure then? you’re too kind! I’ll try to do them justice…
SIWEB - thank you
manzarek123 - thanks a lot. I appreciate it.
SolidSnakexxx - thanks
Sybex - thank you. I’ve uploaded some wireframe. I made the simple basemeshes in XSI and just sculpted it all in Zbrush - straightforward and old fashioned approach
gordon-v - thank you very much - I’m always happy to hear people see personality in my sculpts, that’s the most important thing to me, giving them character with subtlety Yeah I do make faces. The boggart is totally improvised, Zelda’s face is based mostly on a photo of a Cuzco woman, I have once found… no idea who took the photo unfortunately.
mutte696 - thank you!
undoz - thank you very much. Means a lot coming from you Andrei - I love your work…
shmud - thank you sir.

wow Magdalena, truly amazing job on the witch with the little dude on her back,(should check your sketchbook more often…)
love about everything (especially the hand/fingers of the little dude)
Great to see you’re mixing up you’re more classic style with your more fairy tale style (makes any sense ?)
Hey Magda ! the Witch is Great! Can’t wait to see it textured, and with hair (i’m struggling to learn how to use the hair in max without having to much crashes :D)
Cheers!
its great ! i didnt see it before ?!
Lucky_1 - thank you and yes, makes a lot of sense. Exactly what I’m after
andrei.szasz - thanks a lot yeah I hear ya… xsi crashes when working with hair too, thought not as much as it used to
and I always enjoy playing with it [I know, strange]
majid_smiley - thanks
Intervain, you are a master of fabric…
Intervain, I find your artwork very tasty!
vedanta - thanks very much
looga - thank you
well I’ve been having some fun with the latest HMC - Classic Self Portrait - the idea was to put yourself into a famous sculpture or painting. I have chosen a rather simple one to torture myself heheh - my favourite painting by James Tissot called The Fireplace… apart from the head I’ve also changed the dog for a cat, which is more like me and modified the fireplace a bit…
enough talking - I hope you’ll like it. It was a fun exercise especially that it wasn’t 1 to 1 copying only. Unfortunaltely the time did not allow for an awesome XSI render I had in mind so I give you some Zbrush shots instead…
and some other shots
and here’s a wireframe in case you’re interested
thanks for looking
I like it. Great modeling!
Cheers

mind=blown
the fabric is so freaking amazing, i really love this type of work, jeez, the hat, the curls, ruffles, drool…
its funny how you did a self portrait where your face is barely visible
Wow! This is beautiful, I really like the scene. And a spectacular amount of detail all around, what a great sculpt!
Oooh lovely!
Although you could’ve done ‘Sleeping Venus’! That would be nice too!
