thanks a lot plavik

Well I haven’t posted any WIPs in a while, so here’s one of the ongoing personal works, which some of you might have already seen during the stream, The Witch and the Boggart.

It was inspired by a series of books about the adventures of a young magician Septimus Heap, who has an aunt called Zelda Heap. She is a White Witch, a keeper of the Dragon Boat. One of her pets happens to be a rather temperamental boggart, called Boggart I made my interpretation of the character, greatly influenced by the women of Cuzco, Peru and their colourful clothing. She’s holding a cabbage, because Aunt Zelda is rather infamous for her cabbage and eel dishes that very few people enjoy.

The modeling is almost done - next up texturing… and yes, she will have hair, just not modeled ones.
Thanks for looking.

Always a pleasure to see your work. Beautiful piece! Great work on the witch – her skin is looking awesome. Umm…seems like she isn`t using a good anti-aging cream, though. Hehe .
Great work on the clothes and the cabbage.
And of course I love Boggart the boggart. His mimic is priceless.

Fantastic work, Intervain. One crit, her hat kind of looks like a fireman’s hat, due to its shape. The coat and shawl are looking great.

thanks a lot Monja

Dustinbrown - hehehe thanks! LOL I haven’t thought of that. I used the hats of the Mongolian people as inspiration for the shape, with obvious rim modifications… .hehehe should have kept their shape as a whole I guess<img src=“http://www.zbrushcentral.com/upload/atn.gif”>

be careful texturing ok? I think this is a masterpiece!!! The witch expression is priceless! Loved it! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:
