You are a Really Artist.
Good Luck:)

Wow Magda… you never cease to amaze!!! Great work… Loved the texturing on the goblin mechanic guy… And the musketeer is pretty sweet also!
Nice alien character too - i’d love to see that one textured… hehe.

Keep up the inspiring work!
Peace.

amazing stuff Magdalena!!realy love all sculpts

I have your thread gallery link saved as inspiration. It would be very hard for me to say which are my favorite, but the goblin, the chickeny thing, and the lady in red stand out for me. Amazing work throughout!

wow thanks guys for dusting off this thread  - now I must get to work! In the meantime there’s a couple of small vid tuts in the Mac Zbrush thread [website link] should anyone be interested

brettSinclair - thank you

grassetti -thanks sir!

KrakenCMT - thank you!

marcus_civis - thank you 3 huh? LOL I was thinking about it once but … nah, time to do something else completely

andy.chen - thank you very much for the kind words

chindian - thanks Thad!

Heather Lawless - I’m honoured! Thanks a lot! :o

a little something just to show you I’m not a total slacker  - it’s one of 2 personal projects I’m working on at the mo [the other one is kinda big in terms of ‘old school’ modeling so it has not yet entered zbrush - soon though]…

This is a simple scene - just a dragon on a rock  - I’ve always wanted to make a dragon and after reading the Temeraire novels I couldn’t resist any more.
I’d say I’m half way through the sculpting [lots more to be done]. I will texture him too. Obviously he’s lacking his horns and claws here - just a body and major form here  Cheers and any opinions are appreciated!

and you can see a turntable here[for now I’m keeping the front paws and head in symmetry, to make my life easier, but I’ll change that as well]

looks great girl, it is going to be cool when your done!

It’s like you got your inspiration from John Howe’s art, great work so far Magdalena ! just a comment about his feet, I think they look a bit too much like a bird’s ones.Other than that I can’t wait for the final piece with textures and stuff

great model Mag! Im doing a dragon for a project will be great to see yours.
keep posting!

Cya!

Chris - thank you so much

Aumakua - thanks  I wasn’t actually thinking of John’s work to be honest - my main inspiration came from Todd Lockwood whose dragons are just amazing! John’s are great too obviously hehe - but I’d say Lockwood’s the dragon guru for me LOL. About the legs, yeah I did a lot of thinking about those and couldn’t make up my mind about how I wanted them to look - in the end I thought this kinda raptor-ish [velocyraptor was the influence hehe]/bird-ish shape looked nice… well I like it anyway hehe

Grassetti - have fun with yours then  Gotta love dragons [not enough of them around if you ask me!]

:sunglasses: :sunglasses:

he will look awsome im sure … the only thing for me … ( seem that the he need more volume at the ribcage ) … :+1:
good work.

Thank you guys!

phat - yeah it would probably make sense! Thank you

Magda, this dragon is going to blast of the pixels from our screens, I can see that already!
Seriously, it looks great, I would only give a bit more muscle definition to his upper leg.Other than that, WOOHUOA. :+1: :+1: :+1:

thank you very much  Yes, I haven’t sculpted the front paws much yet

That dragon is VERY nice, I have a few questions though

  1. Will you be adding claws to its feet/paws?
  2. Why does its horns looked chopped off? lol
  3. Will you be taking the 2D image of the finished version into photoshop to make it look like its blowing out fire?

That’s all

btw - I’m guessing you didn’t get my email? :frowning:

Yay for new stuff from Ints.

Dark-Anim - thanks - I’ve said in my post that I didn’t put the horns and claws into zbrush  - I have modeled them though…

Piek - thank you sir  Always too kind!

Well started, I agree that a little muscle definition would help.

You should show the WIP of your other model you’re doing even if you did’nt bring it in zbrush yet. It`s already awesome.

it looks like a really nice female dragon so far, can’t wait to see the next update. :+1:
