Spotlight and Image Plane do similar things but in different ways. Image Plane 4 has been released so that you can use whichever you prefer. Also some tutorials for earlier versions of ZBrush require the Image Plane plugin, so with this update those tutorials are still good.

And Image Plane is my preferred :smiley: This is great Marcus! I like Spotlight but the flow with image plane fits me better on texturing. I have been waiting for this!

Thanks a gazillion Marcus (a million has been highly deflated these days :confused: ). And the added features are wonderful.

For folks wondering why its so great, well for many reasons. Not the least of which is many really great tutorials beginners depend on use image plane. And many folks have become accustom to using it with great results.

There’s nothing like having more then one way to to get to the same outcome…options are great.

*I see I used the word “great” 4 times. I think I’ll retire that word for a while :o

Great new functionality! Thanks!

My only one small suggestion, set the cycle buttons so they only cycle through views that have saved data under them. Right now it cycles through all views so if you are only using 3, it cycles through a bunch of empty views. Other than that awesome!! :smiley:
