as always wonderful work on the new model. he really is awesome and love that you go back to some of your older models and revise them.
as they say, artwork is never really finished, there is always more to learn, to create, and bring to life.

update: really nice update on your dad’s bust. he seems to me to be coming along very nicely it looks almost like a painting. I like his eyes and his skin texture they give your model of him more depth. Also I meant what I said above you really are talented and now I know very modest. I am really particular on artist that I like. Sure certain artist catch my eye with some of their work but in you I see great potential and I love every piece you have done thus far. Just be true to yourself and your art that’s all that really matters. Take care.

Here’s an update on my Dad. I’ve tried rendering him in maya but not achieving the look I want 
Its difficult doing someone you love and not being able to get the reference you need. I’ll keep working on this for a long time.

Hey guys thanks again. Here’s another update. No normal maps or spec maps or displacement. I’m just trying to get a good render out of mental ray with the misss shader. No photoshop tweaking either.
