Great complete scene!!
Not being insulting, reminds me of Marcels work
Carrara influence!!!
More.
… simply great!
Me thinks that Carrara really has some effects on the overall work?
I like this a lot!
Is this series a whack set of postcards or what!?
Luv the style Flooze.
While I like this image and dont want to seem unkind, how has this got top row without so much as a single star? To my eye it appears that nearly all of the work on this was one outside of ZB. Although I have to add it is a pleasing image.
Wayne…
I really like yuor image - the characters, the car and the scenery, very cool
Hi boozy floozie,
I just have to say: this is a wonderful image. Your style is always recognizable among the other… I love it
Dizzy Boy
Your style, you keep presenting us all with these delicate views from inside your imagination. Awesome material.
Edit: LMAO, just noticed other before me typed “style” in their post. I did too, but didnt even read the other posts. It’s just that you got a very cool thing going there. Keep up the awesome work.
Wow! Now I see what it takes to make the top row. Congratulations.
Wow boozy floozie. This is amazing. Really nice piece with great mood. I love your style.
just as unusual as usual. ive not posted for awhile myself, ive just
been lurking every other day. lovely to see somthing besides heads, and also
a complete image. thanks for making my day.
…somewhere
Another monsters but poetic monsters
The Flooze is back .
Another flawless piece from the land of dreams.
No stars?.. The Flooze is well beyond the stars, his work needs no such arbitary judgement.
My advice to those that scratch their heads and wonder about the top row… look and learn.
Magical thank you Mr Flooze. I applaud your talent.
Super Boozy…
unique style…
ciao
cameyo
Blimey BF is back & straight into the top row…
I really like the compostion & simple style of this, it just works, great job BF…
Thank you all so much for such a warm reception and kind words ( on the whole ) after such a long time away .
Poetic monsters - yes it’s the first time I’ve done anything Gothic and I wanted to make it fun.
Great to see some new work from you Boozy. This is my favourite (of an exceptional bunch). Wonderful work and thanks for sharing.
Very impressive renders…Boozy …DizzyBoy seems to recognize the “old” Boozy in these 3 images, but i must say they look more “new” Boozy to me
Have you forsaken the 2D look, or is your new rendertoy to “blame” for all of this ?..just curious !
jantim
Thanks Marcus - nice to see you’ve been creating fantastic scripts since I last was here. How did we ever manage without you!!
Rendertoy -
You raise an interesting point there Jantim and one that I love about pure ZBrush work is that orthographic feel and flattened perspective in the renders is closer to a hand drawn image.
I agree that some of that charm is missing from a more traditional camera based renders found in other packages, also that flattened feel also allows for a sympathetic blend between 3D and 2d overpainting.
However the one issue that always eludes me with ZBrush is creating a broader 3D universe that could be used easily for example to create scenes using different views that could be translated into a whole picture book -
something which I now intend to work on.
I think the new version of ZBrush might offer more breadth for such projects, especially with pose manipulation and I’m very excited about that.

Nice to see you again Floozy, and your charming work.
For backgrounds this is, in theory, not so difficult in ZB2 given its polygrouping function.
One thing I have thought of trying is composing my scene in another software using low res models.
Then export that scene en-masse such that when you import it into ZB each part of the scene is a different polygroup.
Now inside ZB place one marker for the whole scene and then go through isolating each separate element (polygroup) of the scene using hide/delete and save them as separate tools.
You can now add detail to the different tools and use the single marker to recall them all into their original positions. You will need to use local mode to model as unless they are at the centre of the scene, the centre of each tool will be a bit off.
Hopefully, you can then reload the original complete scene tool, rotate it to the view you want, re-mark it and use that marker to recall the individual scene tools into the new orientation.
Obviously this won’t help pose models, but ZB2.5 should help with that.
I also like the artistic quality of ZB renders but find for complex scenes that the shadows require a lot of post-work fixing up. Rendering different shadow passes makes this easier though.
