Gothic Drive

Some lovely pictures you returned with boozy floozie. This one is my favourite for its idea but for pure atmosphere and overall quality I prefer your Bon Voyage picture. They are both inspiring pictures :+1:

I have to say that I really love the feel of this and the other pictures. Fun or whimsical – I’m not sure which.

Each one gave me a great deal of enjoyment to look at.

Thanks!

However the one issue that always eludes me with ZBrush is creating a broader 3D universe that could be used easily for example to create scenes using different views that could be translated into a whole picture book -
something which I now intend to work on.

So its the promise of the ā€œcold hard cashā€ of an international bestseller that not only robbed us, 2.5 people ,fom a ZB-purist, but even transformed the friendly artist Boozy Floozy in ā€œsteel eyedā€ Mark Bannerman !
…joking beside : Methinks that your pictures "Gothic Drive"and "Bon Voyage"could have been made in Zbrush-perspective !..have you made testrenders in Zbrush to get a more 3D-effect ?..but i agree on the fact that posing a character will be a big thing for all of us willing to use Zbrush for its rendering quality, and not only for "pimping"base-meshes into cave-trolls !

i hope to see more from you Bo…eh…Mark, soon ,100% ZBrush ,or 10% !

Bonecradle many thanks for your suggestions and feedback with regard scene creation - I’ve added it to my notes for future reference.

Bill and Monstermaker many thanks.

Tveyes - I agree, that’s my favourite too.

Jantim -ZB-purist  Yes I’m now tainted by other filthy distractions.

I have so many ideas backed up in sketch books that will be 95% ZB just like the good ol’ days http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=14620&highlight=lonesome+pistoleros

Boozie, I don’t know what I like most with you, your talent, the real poetry of your approach, or your purism, doing always the same picture, and always, in the same time, a different one, and a surprising one… happy to see that commercial work did’nt alter your individuality, as too often with artists!..
