cool stuff!

Hahah Thanks For The Rep Max, This guy looks great!

Finally came around testing out Sculptris. Very natural way of digital sculpting. A lot of freedom but less control than Zbrush. Defenatly will add it to my tool pallet.

Hallöchen!
Looking really great, Max. This really makes me want to try it but unfortunately it always crashs immediately when I launch it.

VERY VERY AWESOME MAX
i keep trying sculptris but it just doesn’t seem to click with me. But this is a nice sculpt! Keep Working on your stuff man!

I havnt checked this thread for a ‘looooong’ time, what a pleasant surprise! Nice work man. And congrats on the Framestore gig. Hope to see more soon.

Really liking the head design. For the rendering what are these glowing particles? Where do I get such o’these particles for my renders?

Thanks a lot guys!

Moni: vielen dank! ja bin noch in london. Ist super hier!
Thanks Zakkk see ya soon!

Ben: thanks man, Framestore is grate place to work at. I had a very busy first year here in London, but will concentrate more on personal work in the future.

Eiad: Thanks dude, these particles are done in Photoshop. I wanted to replicate a bokeh effect.

Thanks a lot guys. I hope I can keep my speedsculpting up. Im doin it on lunchcrunch.org with my buddy Zakk. (http://zakkmatticeblog.blogspot.com/)

feel free to join in. next Theme up is sculpting a character from a horror movie. We are using Bryan Wynia`s Basemesh. He provided it in the " Sony Santa Monica Lunchcrunch Characters" Thread.

Love the smoker sculpt . Very moody and atmospheric .

goddamn, that smoker guy blows my mind.
Also how did you do thsoe renders, i mena the post with thise fancy effects ?

Hey man, this thing is so mental.
A few questions,

  1. did you do this from a sketch or two?
  2. How long had you been working with ZBrush before you created this madness?
  3. How long did it take to complete this guy??
  4. What are you doing now?

Thanks for the inspiration,
Nick

Here is my render of the Goon.

Thanks for the comments guys.
//slocik - Its a grey render ether out of ZBrush, mental ray, or recently keyshot. preferably with gloabal gathering and some sss. Then I just bring it into ps and add those bokeh effects as well as depth blur and color. the program camerabag gives sometimes nice color effects. I pull these into ps as a starting point and play around with it a bit more.

//nicko mcnicko -
1: What do you mean? I start with the basemesh that I posted here earlier.
2: I started with Zbrush when I started this thread
3: The Goon guy was something between 1.30h and 2h
a slow one. Zakk kicked my ass on this one
Im comin back for ya bro!
4: No I am working as a vfx Character Artist at Framestore on feature movies.u0294052a270971t159450p0000000-t.jpgspeedsculpt14.09.11_instant.jpg
