Fantastic…
Great work. Your traditional sculpture–I thought it was HUGE until your hand put it into scale. You are really a good sculptor.
Yep, I thought so too.
Keep 'em coming …
Very good man! Keep it up
awesome work…like your clay sculpting work…keep showing…

I must echo the previous comment, I didn’t realize how big the sculpt was until you posted a reference…I thought it was just under life size…
Love the sculpts out of a single box…I thought you would have a lot of problems without constant retopo and have mesh tearing, but love seeing these sculpts…could you show a little timelapse maybe?
Well done, keep them coming.
just for clarification… i dont think your lo-poly pictures make sense.
the block with the pedestal is your start, ok… but i doubt you pulled the verts/volumes to what the seconde stage suggests.
stages 2 and + seem to be the subdiv-levels of the finished sculpt.
thats something that always annoyed me. the subdiv levels dont give you a single clue as to how thinmgs where made.
if people posted pics of the subdivs just before the next subdivide was done THAN it would make sense.
correct me if i am wrong.
apaprt from that your sculpts are GREAT! didnt mean to diminish your skill. just a technical comment i had to make.
Fantastic skills in both, traditional and digital you have!, and i love that way of doing digital sculpting, in a more “traditional” way, starting with a block, kind of a block of stone ready to be sculpted great start, i cant wait to see more of your art!.
Tyrone70: thanks man! I just recorded a video, but I was not so confident to do this… but I think it is ok for demonstrate how I start the modeling. I will upload to vimeo and then post here!
thanks

basantjoshi: thanks man!
d100763: thank you!! I will post a timelapse later!
Gunnahan: yes, the steps are subd-levels from the final sculpt. I dont think we have another way to show step by step… only with timelapse… later I will post here. thank you very much!
manzarek123: thanks a lot man!!
I worked a little bit more on the boy’s model today and started the girl’s model. But there’s a LOT of things to fix in the girl yet, but I think you can have an idea what I’m doing. I won’t work so much on these models becouse is just a sketch, I think by tomorrow is all finished and I can start another!

What you’re able to make from just a BOX is pure magic. Love it.
I like the box approach, reminds me of sculpting out of marble or something. The boy looks great but the girls skirt looks a little lumpy.
mkk316: thank you very much!

There’s something wrong, I cant upload the images :S
Edit: Now it’s ok
beau travail
