Post above me, sums it up.
Insane, the amount of detail yet keeping the model clean, brilliant.

WHOA!!! damm, this has got to be some of the most realistically modeled cloth I’ve seen in AGES!! O_O
that looks great ! the only thing i find to let down the render is the material of the metal parts on the stripes , it’s to white it would look alot better if it was more silver like.
and i agree with others , if you make a video tutorial on how to model something like this ( with nothing done behind scenes) i would buy it and pay alot for it ( €150 maybe more )
can you consider it ?
For me, this is your best posting

Tres tres beau!!
Comment t’arranges-tu de faire des si beaux renders en zbrush elle-meme?
Very nice!!
What kind of set up do you use to get such great renders from zbrush itself?
IT looks fantastic and the render is amazing. The costume looks nothing like Gatchaman’s pink’s outfit and she is missing a cape. Unless this is based on some other series.
edit- oops its inspired by it. I still think she needs a cape.
So When are you going to do a DVD for Gnomon to teach us wannabes a bit more about how you work that majic?
amazing work!!
Limbo
excellent, your models are top notch. I love how you do most of stuff just by sculpting on top, very smart indeed (saves tons of polys). Also your skin shading is awesome.
Fabric shader is not up to par. Missing some fresnel imo.
Keep rockin’!!
the surface texturing is outstanding - excellent work
so awesome…!!! great…
Wonderful model. It is so amazing how you made the clothing look so real even in the non-textured pic. My jaw is to the floor. wow it’s so totally real I feel fake. thanks for sharing your masterpiece.
First can I say thanks for showing us how it can be done, totally out of this world skills! You do your final rendering in zbrush ?As much as I hate to ,Could I be as bold as to ask how you set your lights to get such clarity in zb3.I dont like to ask but have spent weeks with results that dont get close to your methods but seeing your work makes me try too much lol .I can understand if you would like keep it secret lol.If you dont ask you dont get an answer right, regards and congrats once more!

There’s a bit of photoshoping to intergarte the background (to add a very sutbile glow around the silouhette), but the render is done in “semi” realtime, considering my pc is laggy.
The shado are realtime sahdows, but for shaders, they are made from different matcaps.
Those matcaps were created based on my reference photo.
Alos, I faked some lightenign I couldn’t simulate with the matcaps and the realtime shadows.
For exemple, the upper shoulder are sligthly lighter the the under arms, same for the interior of the legs. It add a lot to the realism of the rendering, even i its subtile.
Helo Sebcesoir!
How many polys on suit?
Thanks for the tips! Wooo hooo!
Simply OUTSTANDING work small_orange_diamond
