fun with zbrush

I love it!
Direct and spontaneous sculpting.
Qremesher now, go for details. As we work on details, it tends to be rather a displacement method than a “real” sculpting. Where zbrush rocks.

ha, then the hardest thing will be to keep the freshness of the sculpt…when i do, often the spontanous got lost, the sculpt becomes more detailes and precise, but boring :frowning: … will see how i feel about it tonight, when i have time to play

But,
it happens in art making, all the time.
To keep it fresh, well, I don’t have any tip on this.

Hi Kokoro, I am liking the looks of this one very much. I have to see if Blender might fit into my work flow.

All the best, David

glad you like him, david, yes i can imagine you would like blender, the cycles renderer is great, and i think you would like it to place lights like in real world fotography… if you try blender and find problems in the beginning, don’t hesitate to ask me for help  i love having both blender and zbrush, they really enhance each other…

Yup I was converted by Michalis’s use of Blenders UV editor… great for export/import .obj’s, UV’s, diplacement maps to Zbrush

The renderer is quite good too, BR, Cycles, and Lux which I am using presently… Deke

…for the eyes!

hi deke, yes, the cycles renderer is awesome  this alone makes it worth to use blender, ,

thanks frency pilou! so nice to see you again

zbrush and blender teamwork

Your Skin textures are great, and the eyes keep drawing my attention… good stuff… Deke
ps: the eye lashes don’t feel right imho…not that I could do that kind of detail work…

this is good news about the eyes, thanks deke! … yes, the eyelashes i see your point. i made this portrait to learn the hair system in blender, and still i am missing a lot. next time, i try to improve on that. thank you for sharing how you feel about it.

fun with displacements on a low poly mesh…
