Thanks for posting the untextured shots - the skin and skin texture is beautifully sculpted
Baphomet is finished I think.
First of al i cant stop admiring your work,
Its so great.,
I am still learning z brush, and need to clarify a doubt.
Please tell me how you made ChainsâŚ
Did you use any other 3D application of just Z brush for chains.
If its just Z brush, is it not hard to keep so many subtools.?
Thank you very much.

I canât believe I didnât find this thread sooner. Your work is incredible and I have yet to see it top row. (Maybe it was and I missed it). Keep it upâŚyou have inspired me. The Black Earl is incredible.
I would disagree with - and Iâm still surprised everyone ignores - that Jesus is considered the son of god (sort of a - do as I say not as I do god, huh?) which would make him either a demi-god or god, thus negating the monotheism aspect of Christianity (hey, even the religion is named after the kid and not the father). I always found it convenient that people ignore that.
Anyway, the model is looking pretty cool. Like it lept off the pages of a Hellboy comic or some grimoire.
Iâm sure hell666 didnât expect a big religious debate to bust out in his thread, but I would point out a few things, Teyon.
True, Jesus is the son of God, and considered the founder of Christianity, but he always credited God, his Father for everything, and claimed he was sent to Earth by God to carry out his Fatherâs will, and not his own.(John 6:38)
He always directed worship towards God, as did the angels. God is the only being who wasnât created. Everyone else, including the angels were created by God.
If youâre a comic book reader, I suppose you could compare their relative positions to Galactus and the Silver Surfer. God sent Jesus to Earth as his herald. Both were powerful beings, but one served the other.
In Greek Mythology, you had different gods for different purposes. Ares, for instance, was the god of war. Eros, the god of love.
Their is one Almighty God who is worshipped, and credited for all things in Christianity. Monotheism.
Ah, Baphomet is done. Did you texture him in Zbrush? The wings are so well done! Fabolous work on the whole model, my compliments!
Und vielen Dank fĂźr die guten Ideen mit dem Lederflechten. Du hast Recht, da kann man so einiges machen.
Some Baphomet history for you:
Pantheism. Thereâs something a little easier for me to believe in.
@kkris:
You are thinking in the correct direction. I do chains completely in Zbrush. Start with the standard-ring and bring it in the proportion you want your chain look like. You can do it with deformation or with the move-brush with activated symmetry.
Then clone it and append it to your first subtool. Bring it in place, append the next. And so on. To have very low polygons makes it much easier. At the end you can merge them to one subtool.
Thank you very much, boss,
its very helpful for me.
Thanks a lot 1s again,

Haha, no prob. Feel free to debate. My work is also a personal altercation with religion. I don´t like the christian churches as you can see in my works. If you are concerning with the big religions and history, you surely find out, that 90% of the christian interpretations are not more than old and illogical fairytales.
They took pieces from here and parts from there and put them together. It´s a kind of copyright infringement if you want so.
I am also not sure, if Jesus would have loved what they have built up on his shoulders after his death. If you take his words for true, than you would not build a church. But the world is full of churches which are called christian-churches.
Hi Well Said about religion,
Religions is personal belief and it differs to every indivisual.
( I dont know anything about christianity), I am an artist and would love to be an artist for ever. So art is my religion.
I am a Hindu ( from India) I do believe god and every religion.
I even love people who say there no god. If we can see and feel, god is there everywhere.

Thanks a lot.

I always thought the use of the cross as a symbol in Christianity was kind of weird. I mean, I get that it symbolizes he died on the cross but what if there were guns back then and he took a bullet for our sins? Would Christians be wearing little gold guns on chains around their necks like gang bangers?
True. Much of what âChristianâ churches teach or practice today is very different than what Jesus actually taught. Jesus himself said, there would be those claiming to be his followers that wouldnât stick to âthe healthful teachingâ, and would bring in all kinds of other philosophies and practices contrary to what he taught. That there would be those that would do terrible things in Godâs name. For example, Jesus, and first century Christians, were totally neutral in war and politics. He said, âHe who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.â
Yet, we see âChristianâ religions today, and throughout history, who meddle in politics, while also inciting hatred, and wars. Many non-Christian religions do the same.
Jesus said such ones arenât really his followers, and would be condemned for such actions.

Art IS philosofical, isn´t it?

Hi everybody!
Here a new work. Something technical instead of an organic character. Tried to do something different.
It is completely done in Zbrush. Modelling, texturing and lights. Only the finalcomposition is done in Photoshop.
I played around with different matcaps but at the end I used 3 modified versions of the âBasic materialâ. The lights made some problems and I am not happy with the setting at all.
C+C are welcome as always.
Wow very niceâŚ
very nice. How did you do the render in zbrush/photoshop? I am kinda new to the process so I am trying to get different workflows down and yours looks great.
Really looks great, congratulations
