Geez… the nerve of people trying to make me feel good in turbulent times, when all I want to do is feel bad! Also, I think you should have modeled the nose hairs for total anatomic correctness. Mikala - I didn’t think about it but you are right. One image comes to mind, I though it was on the brochure for his school. The drawing was a Conan type figure. I think the nasolabial folds are somewhat similar.

Just looked at your art blog. Amazing stuff! Still browsing through it. The topology for your base is interesting, in that it doesn’t seem to contain many edge loops. Save for the face and parts of the neck. You’ve simply arranged the verts to form the muscle groups. I remember cannedmushrooms’ toon girl model is similar in that respect. Except in the fact that it contains none. Judging from your animation tests, it seems to hold up really nicely. I’ve been doing tons of loops for mine… with all sorts of problems, of course. (poles, subd probs, etc,.) Guess maybe it’s time to make something with the “less is more” approach. Thanks again for letting us take a look under the hood and for inspiring us with your fab work, bro.

I agree with mikala about the floatingworld’s post before. It almost sounds ironic / sarcastic. Nick posted this great model with a simple religious message he wishes to present and you wish to use that same very model for a project in which you would bash that message so to say. It just sounds distasteful to me, just saying though, I ain’t christian or anything but still, respect is due

Neozerahn - I actually masked off part of my body, then I used the extract button in the sub tool section to make a new piece of geometry, pushed and pulled the mesh around, then I took it into Maya and rebuilt the geo and imported that into ZB as my base mesh. (Thanks on the muscles! )
Industripop - I plan to paint, pose and render this guy in Maya when all is said and done.
Super Glitcher - Big thanks to Intervain for is cool shader on this guy! I have fixed the straps and holes in the skull, thanks for pointing that out to me, it was bugging me as well so to hear it come from you really made it sick out like a sore thumb!

Floatingworld - As I stated before, anyone can freely use this model for whatever they wish! That is what a gift is.

My belief is that when you ask God to come into your life and you invite him in, that he does dwell in you, he invest a real piece of himself in you and he does dwell in you. That is why our bodies are temples and should be treated as such.
Regardless of what your world view is, if you look at the human body as a machine, a living organic machine, it is the most complex thing that I can think of. (can anyone think of anything more complex? We are the only thing that we know of that can love, reason, invent and create. That makes us pretty darn special if you ask me.) Talk about nanotechnology, what goes on in our bodies and all around us every second of every day simply boggles the mind. There is so much order in the chaos that for me to think that it all just happens by chance, well that would take a huge amount of faith on my part to believe that it is all due to billions of roles of the dice.
If we, the human race, can not even build a nano scaled machine that rivals an ant. (I’m taking the AI, physical ability to navigate ones environment work together for the greater good of the survival of the species and procrete) Then what business do we have saying that we know for fact that such a task can happen on its own by accident with no assistance?
You are right, it is not enough to believe alone. Even the demons believe in Jesus. Belief without acting on that belief is not much of a belief at all.
