Hello all. This is my first time posting on a forum. This character is for my senior portfolio class here at the Academy of Art University. He is about 60ish years old and an escaped convict circa 1930. The model is actually alot further done than this first image so I’ll post more later today. I used maya and Zbrush 3 so far.

Ah ha! So you posted without telling me! Again awesome character with interesting backstory. I’m jealous of your style since I can’t seem to design stylized characters if I tried :mad: .
Anyways, good job on the screen grabs for the most part, they seem a little large though

Yeah I like ugly people. Strangely enough most of my characters are “imperfect” even the woman. yikes.

I actually liked him before he got hair and stache. He looked more like a convict to me then (made me laff). Anyway, you done good, dude.
well, I haven’t posted updates in awhile so here are some minor adjustments. I worked other models since and they can be seen at my sites.
great stuff, very cool style. One small stupid crit. make the cigar more chewed at the end. Looks odd floating in his mouth. I’d also close the mouth a little more when you do this.
