Hehe indeed goode400 .

Personnally I began my artistic path with 3D and digital sculpting some years ago.
Since some month I began learning traditionnal sculpting .
It’s funny caus’ it seems I follow the inverse way of your ^^

Personnally I prefer traditionnal sculpting now. Despite all the technical problems, it’s really help me to feel the mass of my characters .
Digital sculpting didn’t help me to feel that before .
But I guess to traditionnal scultping will ease my work my digital sculpting ;).

Ha ha! I’ve done my time with all that stuff! Now I’m sat in my warm living room with clean hands! I’ll go back to the clay for the big sculptures though.

I think this must be TOP ROW!!!

Really great models here. I saw one of your goblin statues in one of my kid`s books and I wanted to model it in ZBrush ever since.
The statues look fantastic in the natural environment.

Amph, Silvaticus - Thank you. I have started having some of my older pieces scanned so that I can tweak them and reproduce them in different sizes. I’m just trying to work out what size to have this one printed at. Thankfully the owner of the SLA bureau likes my work so I can trade sculptures for scans. Here’s the proposed scale. It would make it around 1m high!

Thank you to the creator of the matcap ‘shiny old skull’. I searched again but couldn’t find it. It’s a wonderful one for viewing my sculptures and is great with BPR!

Would the matcap be this one by any chance?

That’s the one! Many thanks to Jaycephus.

Not a zbrush sculpture but I thought you might like to see the scan of Mr Warty Slugmuncher Esquire by my friend and fellow sculptor Nick Bibby. I’ve imported it into Zbrush to do a bit of work on it before stereolithography.

Love your stuff! :+1:

Thanks, however this one’s not mine unfortunately.

I see a good thing here. Hey goode400, if I may make a suggestion.
I would love to see you use these skills in a complete art finished setting.
You know - something that is not just a study of an object but a total scene. You have really great skills that deserve to be taken to the next level.

Here’s a first look at the 3D print. Just the jester so far. This was done on an Objet printer by C A Models in Stirling, Scotland
