Plaything - Thanks. Our paths nearly crossed. I started in 1988 in the middle of Rock Circus. Still in touch with a lot of the folks. It certainly was a great place to work.
Ah, yes, I did visit Rock Circus after it was finished (having seen the Trocadero as a shell). And I remember being shown some of the early experiments to find a compound that would work on the animatronics - in particular a hand that looked great, and moved nicely, but which dissolved alarmingly if you pressed the skin surface.
Seems a lifetime ago now.

Chokmah - Thanks. This is why I love Zbrush! All the annoying stuff is removed from the job. No armatures, no spraying and wrapping, and best of all, no mould making!
