*~Fini~* Serengeti 5/3

I took my 3D Terrain one step further in this next work. I’m rather happy with the effect.

Still texturing my model and tweaking the polygo spread, but I have to say that it’s alot easier in Texture Master than it was without it!

Anyway, long way to go, but I was REALLY happy with the Terrain output.

This too will be part of the PosterArt available.

beautiful animal and model as well…I have only seen one at a zoo once when I was a kid…they were so kewl and majestic…great job Kat!

wow Kathy! very good indeed! I’d be extremely happy with the terrain too! You did a fantastic job… so realistic. Also love the sky! :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Thats gorgeous Kathy!!! May I make one suggestion? Add a shadow to its feet to enrich the effect of that beautiful sun and you’ll be good to go  Beautiful Kathy, Just beautiful

Love that Giraffe ! :sunglasses: :+1:

That’s a beautifl sunset Kat reflected over the terrain :sunglasses:
The giraffe model is a stunner :grimacing:

As well you should be happy with the terrain. That’s a fine lanscape. The whole picture seeps of realism. Looking forward to seeing more and more. :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Love that sky. :+1: :+1: :+1:

Others have probably mentioned it in earlier posts but I’m new here. Was the sunset all done in ZBrush or do I need some other software?

Looking forward to you bringing this baby home!

The sky and the terrain are beautiful-esp.the sky-and that modeling on the Giraffe is extraordinary!

I made a bit of progress and thought I’d share the results.

Many apps came to play here for modeling: Blender, Poser, and Bryce.

I converged the models into ZBrush, remapped and retextured within ZBrush. The fur was applied without baking first. Everything is sitting on one layer.

Many different primitives for the goldwork.

I haven’t rendered shadows as it doubles the render time, that’ll be the last addition. There are currently 7 lights.

This too, is for the ArtShow as PosterArt.

For those who emailed me directly (and you know who you are  ) here’s a link to find out how to get ahold of a poster.

Thats a gorgeous image Kathy. I really can’t flaw it on any level. Absolutley brilliant :+1:

This turned out beautifully Kat! I love the synergy you have created between the different applications. Thanks for sharing the details with us. :+1: :+1: :+1:

WoW, thatz a beautiful image, everything abt it is just perfect :+1: . Love the atmosphere and the textures used…

That’s a really nice image. Especially the touches of Jewelery and the sunset for the background.

It’ll be interesting to see the final render with shadows with this.

If I may ask, what part(s) did you use Blender for? I’m curious since I dabble in Blender myself.
