Hi,
Yeah, I considered the ankle thing but time is very limited right now. The symmetry is just temporary though (for ease of sculpting !)
Haha… really nice work on this. I’m sure this is exactly what he gets up to when he’s not scaring people. If you get time to work on this again I think he deserves a better base to stand on
awsome designs here simon ! keep my eyes here…
Hi all !
I needed some eyes for something I was working on tonight so I figured I’d make some new ones quickly. I had heard the earlier ‘test eyes’ I made and are on this thread (which weren’t supposed to be human btw!) had come in for some criticism, so here’s some (almost complete) new ones. I just need to make the corneal lens. I’ll go into the process when theres more time, if anyones interested, but it was pretty straightforward, using a polysphere as the base and some simple masking and such ! No photoshop !
C+c’s welcome

So funny to see this thread… I looked everywhere for it the other day…
I for one am very interest in the process you use to create these kick ass eyes! I’ve been using Cesar Dacol’s technique that he show me from the SIGGRAPH 2008 convention.
Awesome Models, and I two will be keeping my eye on this thread.
Nice eye color. Tutorial, please.
Wow! amazing eye!!, yeah! i have to say the same, tutorial please! looks awesome

Time allowing, I will try to post something on this soon (I said that once before but I mean it this time :))

Of all the things that mess me up its eyes 1. Hair 2. So if you have time I’m certain I’m not the only one who would appreciate and intricate step by step .

- Free time is a rare commodity at the moment, but I’ll do something akin to an eye related tutorial when I get an opportunity !

BTW - The iris seems a little too big because I had ‘perspective’ enabled accidentally !

Simon, Time is of the essence ! I am waiting to see that tutorial. Eyes are
something that does haunt me as far as getting over all the Technical
stuff. The artistic I can do , it’s the technique that helps one to
achieve superior results. Simon I wait with baited breath. ( LOL )
Richie A.
Would this be mr Alonzo by any chance ?

love the concept work.
Hi Simon, Yes you would be correct, it is me. ( Just a little kidding ) I look forward to seeing your method. God knows I have searched the pages and haven’t come across a posting that would be current and not posted back in 2002 with Zbrush 1.55B info . Zbrush Interfaces have changed somewhat, it’s hard to find info that relates to version 3.1. I would also be interested in your workflow with regards to Zbrush.
All the Best,
Richie
