Little update
hahah -awesome - keep going
thank you ^^ !
I ’ d like to try to get ride of his horns and all his colors, for tests.
for the moment I v’ just retopo him (because of stretching issue in the face on the noze&mouth)
I could then reworked with more details and much less stretching issue ont the texture/model.
I already made a body wich is waiting for retopo, more details and pose(s). Next steps would be to think about accesorys and clothes.

looks nice.I especially like the pose.keep it up.;)
thank you !
I am making a little pause with another project, helmet.
I used few references but more or less the same style and the same period.
ps: some elements pattern or motifs are “artistic” choices and does not correspond to historical realistic element.Instead of going to extreme realistic approach, I was ‘just’ practicing to reproduce this helmet in general, actually this is my first attempt for this kind of helmet.
“Gold effect” comes from zbrush rendering and especially bpr filters, and few passes I exported to photoshop, one of them was made with the use of matcap named " neutral bronze " ( ’ CTackettMatsPCVersion ’ is the name of the folder where I founnd this matcap, in my library).
Groovy stuff,
thank you very much
here are few bpr’ s and screensshot of this bust

this one above is the actual last iteration of this model.

‘New’ topolgy (Zremesher) and uv’ s (UvMaster)
subdivision1: 5700 polys
subdivision 5: 1.4million polys (maybe I will try to sibdivide one more time, it will approach 6millions I guess (1.4x4=5.6)
You are progressing very well. Keep going. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.
Awesome work! Follow’d.
getting better & better everytime.keep it up buddy.;)
