Nice work!
Cool vids. thanks for sharing. It seems that in your render you lost some detail visible in videos. Maybe due to soft lightning.
slocik - heh yeah man I know what you mean, rendering is one of the weaker parts of my process, Iāll try and get a better one up soon, promise
sparky3d - I have no idea heh, one of the mods did it after I posted a link to the vimeo page
poda - thanks, yeah I know that would be super helpful. I think my screencap program has a zoom feature I can use to magnify that part of the screen, Iāll check that out for the next timelapse.
henriquedw - thanks man!
JoseConseco - yeah, agreed on that, hopefully there will be a new awesome perfect render of that guy in here soon
Just finished a sketchy study of Jason Seilerās badass Bogart caricature from The Big Sleep, check out the original here --> http://cghub.com/images/view/130035/
cheers!
Great sculpt Ferg, love your style

Your Bogey is fergilicious!
Always a pleasure to see your new sculpts - Top Row thread for sure !
sparky3d, load, webhead, etcher - thanks guys!
just moved back to SLC for the winter, doodled out some sketches the past couple days. Iāve got 4r2 but havent managed to use dynamesh yet⦠Iāve played with it but Iām still stuck in my old basemesh workflow.
Also, recorded a timelapse of the Dark Lord Jeff here - [http://vimeo.com/31639125

cheers!
Just amazing! Your work has your āsignatureā all over it, even though they are all so different! Always a pleasure to see your new work.
Great sketchbook. Youāve got some amazing characters inside your head It would be good to see some of them developed.
super cool forms and flow
I am somewhat reminded of Time Bandits.
Dark Jeff looks amazing, the timelapse is great to watch.
Me too. And Iām happy about that.
Agreed. I love that and doubly so because I can clearly see the brushes that are being used!
Very cool Style keep it up. I quite dig your first post, nice design
chalkman: Thanks dude!
halogenic: Thanks, Iām thinking about developing the stretched fabric/skin monster into a full creature⦠weāll see, I stay so busy with work and life in general, its hard to stay interested long enough to take a personal character all the way. Itās way more fun to just bust out sketchy fun characters in a few hours and move on
Dman3d: thanks!
Jerick: Iāve never seen the movie, but youāre not the only one to say that about that sculpt
Ezekial6: thanks, glad you liked it
koda: cheers man, glad you enjoyed the timelapses
karmajf: thanks!
hereās a few recent free time zsketchesā¦
