Fat guy

Hi

I’ve started to work on a new portrait. Here’s what I have so far.

I’m using zbrush for sculpting, topogun for retopology, 3ds max with vray for rendering and photoshop for texturing and post production

feel free to comment

Wow ! Great job !

great model and render!

looks ace!!!

Selwy

It looks great, but there’s something off to me. It’s like his head is too long and thin, for a fat guy anyway.

That kinda creep’d me out, but for some reason I think I like it even if it is off. Feels scary and unpleasant to look at. Great details in skin, and the eyes and expression, superb. I love it

OMG…nice render…i think it’s better with color.

I like it! Good and detailed sculpting.

Cheers,

Caglar

Damn… This thread gives me a whole new perspective on how to approach a human head. I can’t stop looking and studying your model.

I think I’m done with the eyes and skin, at least for now…

Now I’ll start working on the hair and clothes.

here’s a concept version of how the final character might look.

Wow looks outstanding. great eye shaders. Mind sharing your workflow on it. Cant wait to see the progress on this piece. respects.

Super work! I’d be really interested in knowing your workflow for the skin pores/details.

he look so sad… maybe it is cause youre calling him fat?

Love it. I have this thing for eyes, yours are very nicely done can you explain the process.I’ve been trying to make something look good but with no luck. And are you going to do the hair inside Zbrush? :+1:

wow! nice! really like the shading! :+1:

thanks guys. I’m using cinema 4d for hair, not zbrush.

here goes another update

very nice!

Zbrush for sculpting, topogun for retopology, 3ds max with vray for rendering, photoshop for texturing and post production… AND C4D for hair?

That’s quite a workflow…
ANyway, looking very good

yeah I’m using c4d for hair because I’ve known this software for a long time and it’s the fastest way for me

Some improvements to the sculpt and a new render.

I’m only posting the bw version as I don’t plan the final render to be in color. The black and white picture looks somehow much better with this particular model.
