Some more work finished. I redesigned the actuator in the legs. The actual model had a rubber band that caused the actuator to move when the leg was animated. I decided that the mechanism is fun but since my AT-AT will sit static most of the time. It wasn’t worth the effort. I may make a a single leg with a clear cover to show how it works sometime in the future.
One leg primed.
The base color coat is completed. The weathering fun begins.
First time, full assembly. A few fit problems due to the thickness of the paint.

It took way longer than I expected to get the ATAT assembled. But it’s together. I used to work on real armor vehicles and would see them coming off the line. They were always clean and perfect. That’s what this reminds me of. An ATAT fresh off the factory floor.

Yes. I’ll be weathering it.
Now that it was unveiled at the May the fourth live stream.
