'Email does not match Serial key' error message when attempting Web Activation

When I try to activate ZBrush 4 via the web I receive the following error message:

“The email address provided does not match with the serial key provided at the time of purchase”.

I have checked & triple checked the email and serial key and they definitely do indeed match, but I still get this message and am therefore unable to register/activate ZBrush 4.

PS. This happened at the last ZBrush upgrade, so I presume there is a problem with the details of my account that are still unresolved.

Hi i had also that problem, i tried it a few times(4x) and than voila it worked so be patience.

I have patiently tried many, many times. No Voila for me. It’s not working.

Perhaps you had a different error to mine?

Yeah same here and no matter how many times I try it I just keep getting the same message with no luck.

Please wait about 5 minutes between attempts. If it doesn’t work after a half dozen tries, create a thread in the Direct and Private Support forum. Include your serial number and email address so that we can double check things on our servers.

It hasn’t worked after dozens and dozens of tries over the span of about six hours, so I’ll give the Direct and Private Support forum a try.

im having the same problem not able to activate

I have tried dozens of times. Same exact error.

I have never had a clean Zbrush upgrade install… But the price is right. :wink:

This is so frustrating. I tried and it doesn’t work for me. Can’t get into the direct support because it doesn’t recognize my password. Can’t get a new password because the server never sends me a new one…

Anyone else have any luck?

Yes, it is possible to mail you when this issue is resolved. We will be contacting

I left for a while and then tried again… now it says it can’t connect to the server. They must really be getting hammered.

Same for me. I’ve tried many many times in different hour. The email won’t work and I’m pretty sure it’s the good one.
I’m waiting more than 12 hours for an answer from the support :confused:
