Here’s a 45 minute process video. No talking just sculpting. You can see how my approach is about as organic (and sloppy) as possible. I’m really just looking for rhythm and flow in the forms. I’ll get a video up soon where I talk about my inspirations and and thoughts behind these sculpts. Thanks!

really love this work!!
It’s cools to see You sulpting!
Very nice shapes and forms. Great job
what an amazing gallery! I found this thread looking for Omega ref. Really inspiring stuff man!
This comment really hits home for me though:
“All good things take time. I think our industry is far too concerned with speed and meeting deadlines. It is obviously giving rise to a whole group of younger artists who are willing to trade accuracy for time. Its very important to slow down and take an analytical approach to things… really study your subject.”
I’m trying to get better at this, working on posed models and preparing for print. So a lot of what you talk about helps a lot. Thanks Ehren!! You have a new fan.
Nice anatomy and liked the approach as you didn’t used symmetry …
Thanks guys. I really would like to inspire more people to think sculpturally. It’s very gratifying. The amount of amazing art being done in this industry right now is staggering. It really is like a modern renaissance. There are so many artists that are studying classical figure painting and sculpting. It gets me so pumped!
quick head sculpt from last night. Thinking about using this on a more complete project in the near future.

Really nice! I like the shape of the eyes and the flow the eyebrows take!
It looks like you rendered this in zbrush or took a screenshot from the doc. Did you use one of the skinshaders materials for this?
its just a bpr render with a blinn material. Glad you like it. I actually have keyshot but I never bother to render anything with it. Just being kind of lazy I guess haha
haha^^ it´s still a sweet render! I got the keyshot trial and I just can´t seem to grow happy with it.
Anyway thx for telling me! Apart from sculpting tools I am quite the novice in zbrush. So it´s always cool to find some new things to use;)
I would love to see the rest of the body to the last face
The portrait started out as an exercise but I decided to stick it on this Psylocke I was working on. Based on the Jim Lee 90’s era Marvel Universe card.

i just stumbled across this fella and his “perfectly nude” sculpts (fantastic stuff), and then i came to think of your recent studies. maybe you could use yours for something similare?

Thanks! It’s funny I just saw that guys work in a youtube video recently. It’s cool stuff. Definitely makes me think more seriously about using zbrush in a more fine art form.
Figured it was time to dip in to Keyshot. Attempting some Degas style museum renders.

I’m gonna jump on the Patreon band wagon. I’m going to do a complete set of tutorials covering the process for sculpting a professional quality statue. So what makes this different than all the other zbrush tutorials on youtube? The fact that I have 13 years of experience doing this as a professional. I make molds, I cast, I finish prototypes, I can work with several different types of 3d printers and I know how to export clean stls that are keyed and processed CORRECTLY. I can help take the mystery out of the proccess for anyone who is interested. Take a gander at my little intro video and then join me on Patreon. I’m going to have the first step in the process uploaded very soon. I guarantee you’ll learn some cool stuff.

In the meantime, I’m diving a bit in to my fine art side and working on some renders in my spare time.

Here’s a study of a Delacroix painting I’ve been working on. Its been quite a challenge. Trying to translate 2d in to 3d is always difficult. I think I’m going to print this one.
