Hey guys, I had a bit of a “zbrushers” block but now I’m back and ready to go. This is my new WIP, Nefertiti the egyptian queen famous for her incredible beauty…mmh…I hope I achieved an ounce of it in my model. Anyhow here’s the base of the head + hat (crown?!). Lots to do yet…yay!!

don’t worry if you don’t get the original beauty of Nefertiti (even it’s difficult that you don’t reach it, you’re such a great zbrushress), surely the result’ll be better than how she looks like now…

first of all thank you everyone for your nice comments, always encouraging!!!
…so…this is where i’m going with texturing. thought i’d post a couple hours work that i got in today after coming home form the dentist.:rolleyes: btw i am not using the projection master as it’s giving me problems…veeeeeeery slow dropping and picking up the model plus after i paint colors the texture comes out with seams and weird colored squares where i hadn’t even painted. so BOO on the PM, i’m painting the model in edit mode.
what wonky eyes eh. 
oh well i’ll try and fix them, and if not, i’ll just cake on the eyeliner

just a detail… egyptians doesn’t use lipstick, but they use a pencil line around the mouth sometimes.

well Manzo…in the bust of Nefertiti she seems to have some kind of lipstick, unless the artist made a mistake painting the lips with a too dark color…
Vivien…could you post also some side views? i don’t know if i’m the only one, but i can identify Nefertiti only with the right-side photo of her bust (it’s all because of the book of history of art that we had at Istituto d’arte… :lol: good times gone… :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: )

here’s a quick sideview…the hat is just there temporarily to show what it should look like more or less. as you can see i made the neck a great deal shorter but i can always make it longer later on…for now i think i like it as it is…anyhow i’m turning off zb now, my eyes are burning!!
