I created my custom skin shader in Zbrush, but this definitely on another level, looking forward for the tut.
Are you going to share the shader?
Canāt wait to try this out, looks ace!
Hey guys! thanks for the comments! I havenāt started with the tutorial, Iām still doing tweaks to the BPR settings and the shader. like with my previous tutorials, I will share all the resources so you can guys try it and let me know your thoughts.

All in ZB⦠damn !
Wow! Amazing results that you have got here. Thanks for posting.
Thanks a lot for the comments! I really appreciate you guys taking the time to drop me a line, very encouraging!
So I have been doing a lot of testing of my skin shader with the Infinite Realities head scan and got to a point that I was relatively happy with, so I decided to test the material on some of my old models and see how consistent the shader was. I was expecting to get very different results mainly because, in my experience, the SSS pass will vary a lot depending on the model, but with little tweaking I managed to get something interesting with the SINGLE PASS render process I have been developing.
You guys might have seen this guy before (The Sailor). All rendered withing Zbrush using BPR render in a SINGLE PASS!
I hope you guys like it!

Thinking the same.
Nice sculpts and concepts. (Alone in Dandelion is my favorite)
The Single PaSSS looks awesome!
You never stop amazing me Pablander. Thanks for sharing your work with us !
Thanks a lot. Great teacher!
Thanks for the comments! Iām exited to see that you guys are interested in this! I have the shader almost ready but I want to standardize the rendering process a bit more, I will be sharing the resources with the tutorial as always!
I got a bit of time last weekend to do some work update on the Skin shader for zbrush BPR single pass⦠but before anything, I have to say that I am blown away but the upcoming features of zbrush 4R7, specially the hard surface modeling tools, and off course the keyshot integration that looks insane! well done and thanks! Pixologic! Having seen all that awesomeness I still feel that the single pass BPR render its a great tool for rendering your models and that it still has a lot of potential and that is why I decided to continue with the skin shader tests I have been doing and to put together a tutorial that might be of some use for some of you.
Here is a quick turntable video I did on the weekend with the infinite head scan and the skin shader (I exaggerated the contribution of the S2, S3 and S4 so that their effect is more clear).
I hope you guys like it and stay tuned for more updates and (hopefully soon) the tutorial.

Canāt wait to try it.
I forgot to post this on the weekend⦠but, long story short I was having fish & chips at this nice park on Saturday. I had my camera with me so I could take some pictures and I spotted this tiny little creature crawling up a curled fern stem, which is weird at this time of the year. I took the photo and my battery went flat so just this pic for now, I hope you guys like it!
All done in ZBrush using Zspheres, Dynamesh and fibermesh and rendered with BPR, final compositing and adjustments in Photoshop.
