Some lighting tests inside Zbrush. Model is wip.

wow :+1:
please explain, did you set up the scene in zb?

that’s very cool cherub and I truly think you should continue this scene as it is. other than working out the necessary details I wouldn’t even add much. it all casts the mood and tells a story about here - including the empty plate neatly right in front of her.
I find the image already quite touching.

great light test too btw…

great ! keep it up !

Hey michalis, thank you! Yeah, I’ve built a simple scene in zbrush, and rendered only one light with bpr, coming from the left. Here’s the full shot

Thanks Julian! It’s my grandmother in our kitchen, was planning to take it further, glad you like it

Thank you Majid! :slight_smile:setup.jpg

Really nice one Cherub…:+1: Great lighting effect and the idea to have it coming through that lattice work on the left is also great…
I was wondering how you did it, so thanks for the explanation and full scene setup.
Keep up the great work Cherub…really inspiring…:+1:

By the way, I ordered that DVD by Cesar Dacol Jr…Sculpting Wrinkles in ZBRUSH…Can’t wait to get it,…he’s a great teacher…He talks in laymans language and terms…easy to understand…

clever use of resources I must say

Thanks SpiritDreamer! Yeah, it is a great tutorial, enjoy it

Thanks again Julian

Some more work on the latest one.

Some more sculpt on the eyes, its not so difficult, its just boring
The skin texture should be darker? It depends on the renderer. I had similar problems with my “machinist”.

love the zb4 lighting exploration. You’re work has come a long way dude. Sculpts are solid as well. high five!

Hey guys! Thanks for your comments, been a bit busy so excuse my late reply.

Hey Michalis, how’s it going? The texture is only temporarily, I just projected it from the photo using spotlight to see if the sculpted forms work likeness wise.

Thank you so much Sandpiper! Your work has been an inspiration of mine, and still is

Here’s my new Boss Battle wip, a Hordak redesign, it was Comicon Challenge vs Boss Battle, I went Boss Battle cause the details can be represented better, given 40 000 000 polygons is the limit, so I’ll try to use it as much as possible

Incredible evolution of work Cherub! I’ve just traveled through this thread looking for inspiration and I am floored at how your skills have progressed.
I hope my ability improves like yours - keep up the good work!
