Thanks Konjo! Glad to have you here. I’ll give it a try, though the search for answers inside Zbrush continues
I’m calling the Smurfs done. Tried retopologizing the beards and the hairs, but I felt they lack that freedom of movement.

Excellent stuff Cherub.
If you have the geometry on the beards etc…try these fur brushes…it could really work.fur brushes.zip (128 KB)
Bravo man. I can’t think of anything else posted here that made me smile as much as your smurfs. They have just enough touch of… something, that makes them creepy as all hell, but super cool at the same time.
Gargamel and Azreal would be creeped out.:D
great work overall
Thank you Peter! These are great. Can I keep them? I’ve just tried them and think I could model some realistic hair with them.
0bz glad they did I’ve started modeling Gargamel, but he didn’t feel right so I’ve abandoned him.
Thank you Arkazar!
I’ve polypainted him, and modeled some more, but I liked it best bw in the end, so here he is
Cube topology so I got the most detail I was able to. Zbrush render, ps comp.

Wow.
Nice Palpatine interpretation
may i ask what is your techni in sculpting those wrinkles?
everytime i check out this thread it just gets better…
Thanks guys!
Piggy, I rough the winkles in with zsub of the damein standard brush, then inflat them a bit, and model some more with the clay brush per need. Then I just use the lines default alpha with standard brush dragrect over them for some finer ones.
jeez… your Ratzinger is almost as creepy as the real one
very good work!
Wow Cherub…
