displacement tests for my work

I’m really interested in your progress on this project! Its always a toss up whether to do a scene complete in ZBrush or another application. Of course if your planning on animation there isn’t a choice. Your modeling is excellent! Please keep us posted.

MAYA…?Excelent program man :+1: :grimacing: :grimacing:

yeah, thats jaw dropping, esp ur style of sculpting and character design…:+1:

WOW!

I have been so busy lately I havent stopped to comment on this thread but I have been watching it. That is awesome!! I cant wait to see the full scene. Oh and the expressions on the three are priceless! I can read a distinct personality into everyone at the table!

Cheers!

!!! love it !!!

great great great

Hey kissb!!!
-saw your thead over at spiraloid some time ago and like every one else i’m stunned. absolutely beautifull piece of art. great charaters and all:D

the only little tiny-nitpick-thing, that i have is, it looks like the guy on the lefts pose is a bit out of balance, because his left foot is “off ground”… but then again, who am i to crit on such piece of art…

lookin forward to see the final…

keep it up, you got skills

btw. -whats it for? you wrote at spiraloid, that you hadn’t got much time…

great job ! great render at all ! :+1:

to see that the combination zbrush and XSI does work out!
Really stunning! Mind to share some techniques???

Great stuff, I really like the proportions of the characters. Keep posting updates!

I don´t know what to say…I´m knocked down!!!:grimacing:
Everything is awesome here, the modeling, the textures, the shaders…amazing!!
Inspiring work!!:+1: :+1: :+1:

I posted a thread on CGTalk complaining about Softimage only having mental ray to rely on and how mental ray couldn’t produce good results with ZBrush displacement (not without loads of work)

But your work has made me re-evaluate that conclusion marvelous work absolutely marvelous:+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Inspirational. So much so that I went and looked at XSI for the first time. One of the most detailed characters I’ve seen in a long time. The scene with them at the table is a show stopper.
