Not quite as rediculous as your dog man. But they look like they could be in a TV show. Maybe a 3d Ninja turtles like dinosaur show. But with rocket launcher.

A lot of emphasis of his chest in this render. I’d love to see a three-quarter view of him with his chin up a bit more, so his face has more of a focal point.

gpepper_here it is,the psd file is attached, just drag and dropo layer to bigger image where you can try it and customize to your needs.
However, you should use different approach on drops that are on the surface, and the ones airborne. The airborne ones should have no drop shadow option, and the bevel setting is slightly different,to make the drops appear more translucent and shiny. Again, it all depends on the background and what type of fluid you are after etc.
