Great renders, great idea, nicely done, no more needs to be said appart from congratulations :D:+1:

You got something awesome, and then you add dinosaurs… You just reached a new level of awesome.
Love these guys

Edit:
And thanks for bringing back childhood memories about “Extreme Dinosaurs”

jonnyd’artiste_ everything done in zbrush

Captain Sensible_ thx, I had dilemmas on that move(quitting job) over one year, but I had to do it, If I had not tried, I’d never would of known If would achieve something more. I was following my guts.

scottleroc_ thx!

-Storm- no prob!

Excellent work! Fabulous!
Great designs, I love this work

Congratulations ;):+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

very cool stuff!

Absolutely first rate work.

My only suggestion would be to always simplify where possible regarding design (such as in logo work) and the “DM” Logo for Dino Monsters does not need the second “M” as it can stand alone. The “D” has an “M” in its cut out anyway so it is really not necessary and a single icon logo is almost always stronger than a multiple icon version for a host of reasons.

Nice work!

Cool models! I see more and more people around here quitting their jobs to go after what they really love to do. I admire that a lot. :+1:

i got 2 words for u A I R …

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW WH :o :o :o :o :o EEE

hosch_ Good point, I was thinking about it to, and although I used two letters logo, I’m still having dilemmas on it, and weather I should use the single letter as you suggested. But I guess that could be decided in the future if Dinomonsters get published and become a trademark or something.

sowrdfish_  thx man!

Hope you guys enjoyed the web page as well!

ur truly girfted, amazing

Great design and work!! :+1:

How did you make that splashing water? That’s crazy. The smoke in the earlier images is nice as well.

I can totally see this playing out in my head, great work!

I love the last one, great job with the water and capturing a moment in time. I can really feel the motion. :+1:

How did you go about the water? curious to know.

awesome presentation n effect :+1:

Your Characters are still different then Dinosaucers and still Awesome. I would like to see more of your characters or character designs, because they are very cool. I grew up loving Dinosaurs and these guys and the creature are right up my Ally. I cant wait to see more of these guys.

looks cool, my only 2 critiques are, your hands seem stiff in comparison to the rest of the model, the hands feel lifeless,i would add tension or more dynamic poses to them.

the specular rolloff of the trex character is to broad, I would add either a bump map or use even the color map as a small displacement to break the shinny spec, right now the detail on the texture seems fake since it is playing no part in the breaking up of the highlighs.

besides that its cool stuff.

Thx big times for great feedback everyone!

Dustin and Aberrant,
the water splashes were done two ways.
method one__I placed a bucket of water in front of big black canvas, outside my house.
Hassled my mother to throw the fist sized rocks in that bucket, causing splashes, and we repeated it for like 100 times. After changing to some dry clothes  I uploaded and used that photos by blending them with 3d characters.
Other method was with photoshop.
I created clean layer in photoshop, set it’s blending on overlay, in blending options selected the bevel, customized it to suit the scene, and using black color, brush opacity to max, brush hardness to max I painted some splashes myself.
If it’s not clear, I’l upload psd file with layer setup for painting water!

maingon360_ I hope you have checked the web page, you can find loads of images and other characters there. And there is more of them in the making. Really bad ass villains and so fort.

elfufu_ I agree with your comments! The fingers gave me trouble, cos, there is number of these characters, and I kind of had to make some cuts in terms of spending too much time posing one character, resulting in not too sharp hand posing work. And, I know, specular could of been more present:o

Btw, I love your reel man, you rock!! One of my fav. horror movies
the Mist, great vfx, awesome creature modeling job!

Thx for taking your time with constructive comments!:+1:

hahaha, I totally expected you to say you either made the water with zspheres or real flow or something. You used the good old fashioned technique of splashing real water around. That’s hilarious. Your mom must be a very understanding woman. Make sure you get her some flowers next mother’s day

Your work is testimony to the real power of Zbrush and i think TOP ROW NEEDS TO BE UPDATED !!!
