There are never shadows in unflatten mode, stop testing! The best way I think is to render the transparant parts in a separate layer and make it transparant later in phs.

Ciao Drummer, ti rispondo in Italiano, cosi’ evito problemi con il forum( gia’ mi censurano un’immagine ogni 4 figuriamoci se parlo male del soft.)
Innanzi tutto complimenti per l’immagine sta veramente prendendo vita!
Per quanto riguarda i tuoi problemi con le ombre e le trasparenze, ti garantisco che e’ completamente…normale…avere queste stranezze.
Quando faccio immagini ad alta res3000*4000 mi saltano tutti i parametri, chiaramente a scapito dell’immagine; per non parlare delle ombre.
E’ un ottimo software, ma utilizzarlo come uno tradizionale (vedi Mmarkers, ricerca di fotorealismo nei materiali come acqua e vetro) diviene una perdita di tempo.
Ci sono gia’ passato, e non solo io.
Le risposte che tu cerchi sono completamente imprevedibili, xche’ in certe situazioni il softw. risponde in modo bizzarro.
Guarda quì se trovi qualche suggerimento, ma prendilo solo come indicazione, non ti incaponire se non viene, aggira il problema con altri metodi (il divertente spesso e’ anche questo…).http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=14430&page=2&pp=15

Nice render! But… I know there is a boat from other picts. Now it is hard to see. If you accentuate the bow and the front of the boat some more…
