Crits n Grits - the starts of a gallery...hopefully

ZBrush + paintover on the back

Between work, my daughter’s half term hols, and zbrush - Keyshot issues, I haven’t been able to touch this, so thought I’d blast some stuff at it and see how I feel about it in a couple of days
Quite like the exo-assisted fingers but not so sure about introducing the red and white stripes elsewhere

Thoughts very welcome

Very cool man, Good to see that you are still zbrushin’ !!

Keep on . . .

Hey Si,

Thanks for stopping by…things seem quiet on here compared to other sites 8)

Glad you like him, dude.
Checked out your 80’s classic figurines…very nice, you’ve nailed them perfectly.
I’ll post a comment on there in a mo.

keep on truckin

Been working on a Bluray cover to re-market/rebrand the original 2 films. Client wanted the TMNT crew to look somewhere between the old ones and the new. I convinced them that making the original film chars ‘grow up’ might be better and this is where we ended up.
Heeeeere’s Donnie…I kinda want a print of him now

ZBrush + Photobashing + lots of paint-over

TMNT - DVD Final small.jpg

Well I was finally given these fonts… :stuck_out_tongue:
I cast a shadow across the title, textured and embossed it, and gave it perspective as I felt it made it sit in the picture

Client was happy so called it… thank faq

Was a lot of fun ZBrushing these guys though, and in the end I went for multiple passes of zbrush renders to get the illustrative feel, which keyshot really wasn’t giving me

A fabulous job in bringing so many elements together with compositional cohesion and dynamism. :+1:
The perspective blend of the title graphic is a sweet touch.

Great composition!

Wow! I love all of your work but that last texture and render is something special. Way cool!

I feel your personal style shines thru your sculpts/renders a great deal, and they stand out because of it. Love all your work.

hey man, means a great deal to me that you say that. We’ve both come a long way with ZB over these past few years
