Count Dracula!

Actually I think the narrow depth of field really lends charm to the image. It is very reminiscent of studio portraits of the 30s where often only the eyes were in focus, everything fore and aft of them falling off into a soft blur. Note how, in this George Hurrell portrait of Joan Crawford, though not as extreme as some, the focus starts to off just behind the ear.
