Count Dracula!

Not much else to say except that this is quite an inspiring piece! I’ve got to say you’ve really captured his evil stare perfectly. I’ll be looking over this guy and studying him intently as I’m trying to do a portrait of Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch of the West.

Just amazing…

fantastic work

Ok, you’ve done Frank, Wolfman, and now Drac… when is the Creech scheduled?

Hey Rick,

This is Dave Grasso saying hey. We met a long time ago but haven’t worked together yet. Your ZBrush work always blows me away. The likenesses are incredible and your choice of subject matter is always right on. I’ve always been a fan of the Universal Monsters since I was a kid and seeing them recreated in digital by you is always a great thrill.

Hope to get together some day and talk ZBrush and Monsters with you.

Dave.

Bela’s looking more vampire here than he’s ever looked. The evil look and quality you’ve captured here really reminds me of Im-ho-tep. Thats glare Karloff had
when he looked straight into the camera, his eyes glowing.
Love the classic quality and clarity your bringing to digital.
Is Fredrick March next?!.

Frank

I think it’s spot on for a likeness.

Beautiful work

Bows to the king of fright.
The eyes really do it! You just have this magical ability to really breath life into your monsters. Nice to see how well you’ve translated that into Zbrush.

Awesome. What is Modo? Is it part of Zbrush like Mental Ray is part of Maya? Beautiful digi sculpt. American Werewolf in London is my favorite werewolf movie to date, I love the snapping jaw and of course the transformation. The wolf looked awesome when he comes around the corner in the subway scene where we see him from the victims POV.

Amazing sculpt! Just curious as to how one does eyelashes? Are they done in post, actually part of the mesh or is it part of the texture?

Great work:D love the skin.

ive got this on my wall with my posters, came free with my 3d world a couple of months ago.

Hi Rick

Big fan of your work:+1:

Can you tell us about the lighting set up on this character, also would love to know more about the rendering and comp work??

Cheers, Claude
