congradulation !
The close ups are exellent! the skin texture is realy nice!Iāve been using the skin shader from Brazilā¦it looks much better with MR
did U use Brazil before? What is the big difference with using mental ray? is there a skin shader for mentalray as well and is it easy to use? What about the render times? What kind of lights are U using? Can I see some of Ur maps(bump etc?)
Sorry for all the questions but Iām realy impressedā¦should I start using mental Ray???
The only thing I could say (same in the CGtalk forum) is that the skin on the āhornsā could be a little more like dry and with a different color.but againā¦itās very very nice!..love Ur work!

SubDivMe, if I may ask, how did you do the eyebrows in 3d studio max? Was that an extention of the hairFX plug-in, or did you use splines? Or perhaps it was in postwork in Zbrush. Your comments would be very inspiring.
Thanks,
āRiprock
Thatās awesome man. Nice work. Love the little details.
Jonas please post more info about texturing and lighting!!!
amazing texture and modelling one of the best ive seen. Im pretty sure thats a image map modified in photoshop or something then remapped back onto the model using a method called texture transfer as described by Ken Brilliant. If so you have used this method to the extreem and it looks awsome. If im wrong though then you must be the best texture artist around as the detail is just so realistic. Would love to know how you did it.
Hello SubDivMe,
great work really love the texturing, which is why Iām psoting this reply.
I have an Ork in the general forum recently under āsonderā and wanted to know the best way to texture him, any chance you could help me on this???
Sonder
Absolutely amazing! Iām curiuous, how did you textured him in ZBrush, I had problems, when I tried to bake the shading and textures into one texture.
Could you show samples of your maps (with watermark)? Have you used MR fast_skin shading?
OK. Too much questionā¦
Thanks,
Jester
