Cesar Dacol Jr sketch book.

Hi Dustibin,
You are explaining the entire reason I decided to do this.
This is fantastic!
I understand that I will never reach everyone.
But for every one I do, it makes it all worth it.
I have learned the hard way that in life it’s what you do for others that
makes the difference.
Thank you for taking the time to write the above, you really made my day.

Day 3 is up. ^_______^

Love what you’re doing right now Cesar. All the guys teaching classes at visualarium are really making it a pleasant and enlightening experience to learn about Zbrush and art in general. Thanks guys.

Thanks Darxx.
Glad you’re enjoying them.
Day 4 is up.

Thanks a Million for Caring and Sharing Cesar, and for making the learning adventure and journy a greater pleasure than it already is…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Glenn

Thank you Glenn.
My extreme pleasure.
On another note an believe me not a decision we took lightly.
You will notice that some of the videos will now have commercials attached to them. I’m sorry for that, but since we are creating content for free for the most part. We still have to deal with the financial costs associated with producing the content.
SO once again I apologize, but hope you understand why we decided to do so.
Cesar Dacol Jr.

Hi Cesar! You work so hard to make really good videos and we don’t even have to pay you for seeing them! The least we can do is to wait 20 seconds so you can make money! It’s perfectly fine with me and I’m sure everyone else feels the same!

Seconded!

Thirded! (?)

Thanks guys for understanding.
Truly appreciate it!
Day 5 is up.

Once again Cesar, thank you.

Your words are magical.

Hi Darxx.
Thank you.
Hi Everyone,
Few hours to go before the FREE live webinar.
Still time to sign up here.

Cesar Dacol Jr

Hey Cesar!

Just come off line from your live webinar.

You just blew my mind man!

I dunno if you could see the comments, but there were so many people there, 20 to 40 years old. ALL of them suddenly realised they are not as old as they first thought, me included! It’s never too late to start over and work cleaver.

I realised too that the thumbnail method you showed could be used for refining an idea before I take my pencil to paper.

Honestly I got so many notes here and your life lessons, yet again, made me think you are watching over my shoulder.

Thank you for both the Zbrush techniques and the life lessons! Really mate!

Mark

Cesar,
Thanks for the free webinar!
As Mark just mentioned it was really an eye opener for me in many regards…
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head here with these free videos you’ve put out recently… As artists we all have our own insecurities. Instead of tip toeing around this, you’ve made it a point to seek this human flaw out and make it known! Insecurities can manifest into many forms, my personal battle is with procrastination as I’m sure many on here can relate. I’m now more aware of this than I have ever been.

I think what you are really doing here is simply giving us new tools. Whether they be mental tools, or zbrush workflows, these are tools. For that I thank you!! After all it’s the tools we posses that separate us from the rest of the beasts.

It was also refreshing to see people logging into your talk from all corners of the world and from a wide range of ages! The zbrush user base is simply exploding, and after seeing your thumbnail techniques today, it’s clear just how dominant this ever evolving piece of software really is!
Again thanks for sharing and I’m very much considering taking your course after today.

One last thing.
You seem to have a great “Just do it” attitude, any advice for someone that has trouble turning the art side off?
I find myself sculpting in my head while I’m trying to go to sleep for the night.
This happens a lot, and while this isn’t terrible it sure has led to some restless nights.
Just wondering how you separate your “work” time from “personal” time, or if yours bleeds over as much as mine does?
Take care man!

-Jerod

Hi Mark.
I was not seeing the comments.
It’s really cool knowing that people were responding enthusiastically to
the method. I truly appreciate you taking the time to drop in and express
your feelings.

Hi Jerod.
I have that feeling every single day I work with ZBrush.
There’s not a day that goes by where I do not have my insecurities, the point is to understand… that is human.
The important part is how do to deal with that insecurity so that you feel confused and frustrated you can use that
to your advantage.
As for turning off the artist mind.
It’s all about balance… learning to keep sane is just as important!
it comes down to priorities, it will take time to train your brain to focus on other things.
I suggest literally telling yourself out loud, (KNOW IT SOUNDS STRANGE).
It’s now time for __________ insert your topic.
Force yourself to have other interests, occupy your bran with something else.
Over time you will begin to have control of what is important at any given moment.
I hope that helps.

Here’s the recap video from today’s Webinar.

Cesar Jr.

hey Cesar is there a syllabus out for your class? i emailed the visualarium but they haven’t replied.
if you ever decided to start hosting classes on your own (without visualarium/ryan) I’ll definitely sign up.

Hi Pabgo,
Let me look into this.
Cesar Dacol Jr.

Hey Cesar I noticed it’s somewhat hard to find your class registration page on visualarium. managed to find it through the preview webinar link (if anyone else was looking for it?). Best of luck

I have been teaching for over 10 years.
It has been an incredible ride. Extremely fulling.
Time for me to strike out on my own. Come and help me make my dream come true as I take a scary step into the unknown.
