Cedric Seaut's Little Box

Ced,

Thank you so much for the write up. I woke up today with this sitting in my in-box. Thanks for helping my morning start off so great!!

Peace-NickZ.

Awesome! Thanks a lot for explaining your process. :+1:

yeah,
thanks for sharing the workflow:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

well what to say, its just mindblowing.I never thought some thing could be done like this hard surface in Zbrush.

and thanks for your workflow

cheers :+1:

Thanks you so much for the breakdown Ced, amazing work !
It makes me want to start a new hard surface project

very interesting tut!
i’m wondering, if you have time, if you want, if …if…if…, if you could explain your rendering technique with marmoset.
it would be very useful.
have you either exported all single pieces in marmoset or a single object with a single map per function (color normal, displacement, reflection,…)?
thank you a lot in advance!
ciaooooooooooooooo

Hi Ced,

First of all congrats because it’s quite a great and original design now that a lot of ppl are trying and doing their best at hard surfaces.

Secondly, if you don’t mind answering one more question (:P), do you put a lot of effort trying to get the most topology as possible in one piece? or do you model them appart and have a lot of subtools?

Thank you!!!

Totally awesome man

I really like how your Power supplier looks except for one thing - baby feet. The feet seem way too small for the shear bulk of your character. He seems like he would be top-heavy for that size feet.

Looks amazing! The armor type shell reminds me of the suits that FROG S wear in MGS4. Also the gekko has similar design. Love all the small details

Great design and model. Would you say the hard surface training dvds cover the tools abs techniques you used to create this?
Cheers

Another amazing work. You never cease to blow me Ced

Really interesting design, I like it…Any chance to see a colored version in hidef poly mesh?

Bye

no disrespect to the other tuts out there but THIS is the zb hardsurface DVD i’d put down 100 bucks for

…you have taken things several steps further with this sculpt. I second the motion for a dvd or in depth article like the 3dtutorial one. I also, would gladly pay 100 dollars.

The areas of concentrated detail are incredible. The area around the back of the ‘foot’ is very impressive, not only in the execution of the details but because you give the eye a chance to rest in the long soft curve of the calf area.

Do you think you covered everything in the 3DTotal tutorial that you would put in a tutorial for this sculpt?

Nice, just from the style and design you will know who the artist is.

Most awesome work, love the forms, and color of the design!:+1:

Awesome concept man. Love your style.:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

Great work mate!!! That is really superb work man. I would love to be able to match that quality someday.:+1:
