Amazing stuff bro.you did a great job on textures.keep it up.;)

Looks great, Looking forward to seeing process!

I like your work a lot. You have a special gift for faces.

Hint: if that paraying girl seems to fall forward, just put something under her knees so she comes back to equilibrium.
But the way it is right now reminds me of an Italian tomb sculpture, so the falling forwards could be interpreted as very symbolic.

Congrats.

Very nice model and details! I also like the specular highlights.

Awesome! I like the way you used skulls on armor and bone reliefs.

Great presentation platform! The stone.

Thanks a lot! You all are very kind

@Masart: I am planning to do some breakdowns a general workflow explanation on my next piece. Let see how it turns out!

@Erik Heyninck: I have a ton of fun sculpting faces, that’s my favorite part ^^ still have long ways to go! Yeah, she seems to be falling forward, but looking at it again, it kinda gives a sense of movement and the unbalance may works in your advantage on this case. But the idea of putting something under her knees is good! Didn’t think about that, thanks

@jan19: I took that opportunity to study how to sculpt and texture rocks. Since i specialized in characters, i didn’t any experience in modeling environment pieces, so making those rocks was quite a challenge to me, and really fun!

Cheers!

Also, here some stills of the last character, hope you like it!

Those textures are spectacular!

The modeling is wonderful, too, but the textures really make your models shine.

also shapes and alphas(IMM)

Since some asked about how i did the textures, i did a very simple breakdown here!

Hope you like it

Hell Yeah!!! Garrus for the win. Very nice job. One of my favorite character from ME (though they are all very cool). Any plans for making Javik? I love this four-eyed bastard.

AWESOME.Garrus is one of the best characters ever.I wish you could make a full body of him.any chance??;);)

Thank you very much!

@Vir Norin: Hahah, that would be a nice piece to work on! He definetly is a cool looking 4 eyed dude ^^
@Diablo: Actually that is on the makes! I am not the one doing it, but we have another artist working on the body for the short film =)

Cheers!

Finally got to finish this one!
Personal project of a slight more realistic approach bust. The objective with this piece was to experiment with workflows for realistic sculpting and texturing.

Hope you like it !

And after a massive hiatus, I am back to ZBC.

Let’s start with some new and some old(er).

Currently WIP, based on Dylan Ekren drawing (and taking his course).

And what I did previously to that, during my course with Gio Nakpil.

and, why not, an updated version of my last post here. Fixed lighting on the Marmoset scene.

Stylized character study based on the awesome drawing by Dylan Ekren. Done during a course taught by him as well. I can barely put into words how much I’ve learned during the classes, it was a overhaul on how I read shapes and silhouette.
I plan to post the progress with some thoughts soon.

Rendered in Marmoset 3 - which, by the way, is freaking awesome.

You can find his original work here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/J3BPd
Thank you, Dylan!
