This is my first post here, so I thought I’d break the ice with a Zbrushed work-in-progress environment. The concept behind this was pretty basic… long lost “gadget” style atomic bomb barely hidden in some overgrown cave. The base mesh was modeled in 3dsmax and the textures were from 3D Total’s total textures along with a few personal additions and tweaks. After chunking the cave up like a character, I brought each piece into Zbrush and did a combination of mask modeling and basic brush work. Then using Zmapper I exported out the normals and used the 3rd level subdivison for the newly imported objs. The wip below was rendered in 3dsmax using Brazil.
