Great work! I love the jug band characters, they are so much fun.
Next member of the band. Cajun crawfish on the fiddle. This guy went pretty fast. The sculpt is all Zbrush except for the fiddle I tweaked an old guitar I made in max.

Really good character work! Only quibble is with the lower legs, it seems that each one in a slightly different position would add some “spice” to the pose.
Love the Tabasco (sp?) inspired logo!
Man, your mind is like a good field where ideas flourish! I’m happy to see so much variation of themes in one artist. Your background is very solid, as you capture the essence of everything that you depict! Keep it up!
Two more members of the band added! Granny on the string washtub base and a frog on the harmonica. I gotta say Granny was one of my least favorite concepts I did, but after reworking her over and over (and over) in Zbrush I am pretty pleased with her. I love the speed I am able to make major changes to my sculpt in Zbrush! I’ll try and post some wips later, otherwise stay tunned for the next member of the band.

Added a gator to the band last night. Trying to balance out the band with more animal characters. A few people have been asking if I’m going to render all the characters together. So far thats the plan, but I’m not really sure if thats possible with my machine. I also plan on painting them via poly paint.

Expression & pose are superb.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a touch of similar texturing on the Crawfish (my other favorite in the band)… don’t get me wrong – I love the clean simplicity of these guys, and would hate to see them overworked – but the Gator seems to strike the perfect balance.
But no matter – these are all great.
