thanks guys!!
Poda: yes, the metal rings are just a test. i’m going to work on it in Zbrush; great idea to displace the flesh with it!
i think i see what you mean about the side view. i will try to correct. thanks for crits, you’re very welcome!!

Highlander72: i had to open a dictionnary!!! yes, i do agree. i haven’t drawn the muscles really as they must be…so, lets work!!

Well, some work after…hope I’ve done good corrections!

Xada how come she is leaning forward

don’t know… always make this mistake. maybe something to rotate on the pelvis

Are you going to fix it? Shouldnt be too much of an issue with a little transpose at the knees to straighten things out. :+1:

I’ll try this tonight.
also, i’d really like to work an other style of face (certainly based on french sculptor’s Carpaux work). and try a lot of pauses.
i’ve been working till months (years?) to find this style of body in my sculpts. know, i’d like to try everything with the mesh!!!

I have the same problem and I don’t know why either… if I were to guess from having made a lot of stuff that does this I would say for me its a toss up between how Zbrush deals with depth and maybe the “local” button which does strange things to how I work…

Its weird to see someone else running into the same thing

Cheers,
Mealea

OH!
Im sorry, I also forgot to say I love your work! Its very nice!

GRIN!

MealeaYing, it’s very good to read!! thanks.
i hope i’ve fixed that issue with the legs…as i can’t see it by myself…thanks all for help.

worked also the face.

Thats much better xada but she still isnt up straight, she needs a bit more tweaking

…ocean!

what do ya’ mean Piloute??

worked an other time on the face, and tyied an other sort of hair.
maybe, she will finish as a statue…
Blender Render (i can’t manage it with transpose for poses testing…so i rigged her quickly)

hi! i’ve tryed some different poses. i think she’ll be something like a greek sculpture, regardless to her proportions.
BUT, suddenly, i’ve discovered LoisH drawings! you must’nt ignore this vey good designer. http://loish.net/I tryed a new way of finishing my girl, with one of her design as reference. i’m very far…but it helped for fiding a way of finishing.

Nice updates Xada. And great taste in reference. Frazetta is a great, but not surprising choice. LoisH is a great choice too but not nearly as well known. I’m a big fan of both. Are you planning to push the features/style more toward the painting or just use it for ideas?

many thanks Poda, specially for the “taste” comment!
happy you know Lois van Barle’s work, maybe i’m late discovering her!!

how much i’d like to be closer from the painting, but, as i’m very glad i did this modeling…i’m not sure i’ll been able. my eyes are much working for loving than for giving!!

Tried to work closer to the painting.

Hey looking good man, like the painting/tattoos you’re giving her.
I think her belly button needs to be 3-6 inches higher

“belly button”, i was answering the name of this part of anatomy! thanks Jaradv! i worked on that issue.
although, i’ve prepared this version for printing. not sure it shall work…but i like it!

This is coming along nicely Xada! You may want to consider a lighter color and less shiny material for the shoes. I think they currently overpower everything else.

I tryed an other way to render my girl, as coloured pictures are not really my way…
so this styled remembered me the French advertisings for Aubade. I tryed it with my model of Rapunzel.
