Thank you for the break down, master. Very useful indeed!

Thanks, Great information. Are you also adding BPR filters like noise to these? Looks like you are.

Thanks Guys, I’m glad that you find it useful.I appreciate all of the responses. If you try it and have questions let me know. I’ll try my best to answer them. Thanks to the guys who watched the video too. I have to say that the opinions expressed on the full versions are not mine.

Here is the brain guy rendered in MODO, it’s been a while since I have used it and don’t remember a bunch. I can’t seem to get a depth pass so if there are some MODO users out there I would appreciate some help.
thanks again,
Rick

thats amazing!!:+1: great render, gonna give a try at modo now!

Hey Rick, Cool character!

In order to get a separate Depth render, you’ll need to go to the Shader Tab on the right side and under the Render section where the final outputs are listed, you have to add a Depth output. Quickest way is to just right click and duplicate the Final Color Output and then change the setting in the Effect column of the duplicate to Depth. I haven’t upgraded to 701 yet, but that’s how I do it in 601. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply Kracken, I was doing just that but getting a black frame. Turns out that I had to adjust the max distance and gamma. I appreciate the quick reply though.

Thank you for sharing your settings :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:
