Thanks a lot for the comments guys! Really appreciate it
Woke up at 3am and started working on a sculpture of mine… came out badly so I turned on this movie called surviving the hunt with ice cube (which is an awesome 80’s movie!) and sculpted this thing as a warm up I guess.
very cool blending of surface types i like this piece a lot.
you really going crazy with the renders now ;D anyway, im not sure abnout the last guy, i like some parts and others not so much, especially the organic parts lack a bit in main forms, like around teh eyes and neck. Still looks fun.
haha thanks slocik. I’m just messing around mostly. I’ll pay more attention to areas like around the eyes and stuff with this next monster. I’m using this time mainly to create new brushes and try new render stuff out.
Thanks also, evan!
Not my design, did it for a small indie company recently. Also I’m starting to get into more photorealism sculpts so here’s a wip.
The outlaw was the highest poly model I’ve worked with and it gave me a ton of trouble. Can’t wait to just get the detail onto the low poly.

So I learned a bit about photorealism after texturing this and my next attempt will be better! He was a very wrinkly man to sculpt but he wasn’t very old so it was strange.
Speed Sculpt, the guy had really cartoon-ish features but it was fun!
Love these last two, great expressions and baggy flesh! The rake-y texture and render on the last guy is nice too.
Well, I’ve taken an Ecorche class this last semester in school and it helped me learn the importance of a good base for any sculpture so I am trying to do a lot of studies since the semester is over. Here’s the first 2 days of sculpting since classes ended.

the funny guy is amazing, I love this
