Muy buena imagen felicidades es muy realista
wow, great character! he has a soul!
neck is a bit long but never mind.
very ncie render, but there are 2 things i dont like, inside of his ear, and teh fact that the head isnt in the center of the picture, theres just to much empty space on the right side
Nice work man, I think I know that guy lol. I disagree with slocik I like your composition bein on a 3rd line but I do kinda think itd’ be nice to give him some head room. about the neck i think if you brought his shoulders up this would help keep the neck from looking so long. I think the skin texture looks beautiful.
I think this is one of the best humans i ever saw done in 3d. And yes, to the right and with some “air” on the top of the head would de-stress the image a bit. But hey, maybe that was what you were going for. Wires, more renders, whatever you throw our ways, I’ll record it on my “favorite 3d work” directory for further reference. 5 stars from me.
Wow!
5 stars.
Great texture and hair.
The only thing I would say is that maybe the neck looks a little long, and maybe just give him more of an Adams’ apple. Great work though, very realistic.
Woah, very nice! It seems slightly stylized, but very realistic, executed brilliantly!
What a great image.
The skin texture is particularly good.
I would prefer his face reversed to that he is looking into the picture, but that is just my opinion.
Many stars.
Seeya.
Paul.
I can’t decide which part is my favorite, the zit, or the chin scar. Muy fantastico Ricardo! Top row!
Great job!!!
Single?
Very nice Ricardo
Excellent skin, composition, light and expression.
He has fine realism with in subtle classical, painterly style.
Love it.
thanks everyone! heres a render without the texture with a change in the lighting. i lost a bit of the detail and mass on this guy because of the lighting that i chose for him but i hopefully with these lights you can see it a little better.
Giantsun: i did do a version of him with the top of the head showing but i liked the compisition more with his head a little chopped. i felt it was a little more with less of him showing.
metric: thanks! your models amaze me! cheers
jit_gohiil: maybe you can see that elusive adams apple a little with this render.
Breoniks: ahhaha i vote for the chin scar! its less noticeable
cheers,
Ricardo
This is great work. I agree with one comment above. Center the image and the inside ear looks a little strange but otherwise it’s absolutely, incredibley lifelike. I love it. 5 Stars.
small_orange_diamond
That face is amazing man! I really like the small detailing you put into it. I was wonder what program you rendered it in? Also, did you work at Pendulum with Rob Miller??
Very good Job Ricardo I like the texture is very realistic, Can you please tell me how did you make the look of the shaved beard I want to aply a similar look to my character. Thanks
well deserved front page
this is very good modeling, texturing and lighting
thanks for sharing
edit*i actually like your composition, i dont think it would have the same mood if the head was in the dead center of the image with no compositional value.
wow … I can almost sense the hairs on his back … creepy. Yikesamondo good.
nice work…got some proportion issues if you were going for realism as already mentioned with neck…and ears cud use some more detail with form.
looks like you made a good use of Ryan’s ‘Modeling with a Texture’ tutorial…works well here…and yeah was just curious what’s the polycount?? 1 mils or more than 4 mils to get that kinda mesh detail?
cheers
