hello! working again on merlin’s book… it’s the entrance of Avallon, the mystic island in the marsh…even if some parts, for the booleans on the column, have being made out of zbrush, it’s very simple modelling, nearly primitives…(except the serpent’s head, o course); then snapshooted, and textured by the same process than texturing in text. master: document export for each layer, in photoshop :painting and photos “cut”, (mainly a little hole of water near my house), then doc import in zbrush; if necessary to do twice, to change something on one layer, it’s more tedious than in texture master, because you have to apply the flat material by the simple brush, to maintain the colors… rendered in z brush, after “enhanced” the geometry by zadd et zsub material, directly on the textured layer, outlining a big stone for example… amitiés M.
i forgot: the reflection is add after, in photoshop ; i didn’t try in z brush: is it posible? (oh, and why some letters of the post change in the little face, smiling or “tonguing”?)
marcel:
you should change photoshop :painting
to
photoshop: painting
I assume you mean to show which part done in text. master: (document export for each layer)
and
photoshop: (painting and photos “cut”)
:painting = ainting
Also If you click option box “Disable smilies in this post.” You can write :painting
looks great marcel , so the swamp is made by the use of a foto again ? I’m always amazed how you manage to implement it seamlessly into a scene.
the only critique I have would be that the image is a bit on the small side and some detail , like the snake heads is lost a bit.
thank you the namek; i’m not sure of what you mean by seamlessly: when you export the document -layer, you open it in photoshop (or similar); now, if you want to use a photo, you cut a part of the foto, drag it in the z document, and begin to play,; it 's not a texture applied via the texture process; it’s directly, that allows a very very precise texturing…( maybe if you have the same idea of my explanation, forget that add
friendly m.
and sorry helga: what do you mean: if i don’t want the little gremlins, if don’t use the letter p? hope that this process is not going to get more letters, i(t’s going to become difficult to write!
When you accidentally put the symbol “:” in front of “painting” you will get the face instead of a “p”
The symbol “:” should have been directly behind “photoshop” to give you
“photoshop: painting …et cetera”
another question , you seem to be an ace at texturing , do you have some good links where you can get High Quality Textures ?
Like the marble and the bricks textures.
There are several ways to do reflections in ZBrush. Here are some possibilities:
Hi Marcel
The column foot seem too clean
A little mouldy should be necessary
A curious straight line green on the right ?
And perspective of brick between the 2 column on the left seems inverse
Is it the “Table ronde” at the bottom stair ?
because there are 12 little pillars
Have fun Saga making
Pilou
eh fp, here is the explanation, of the stones and the green lines… but it’s anyway a problem
http://perso.club-internet.fr/lemog/ this site seems to me good, the namek, for textures wall, wood and so on… an another link is:www.davegh.com It’s if I understand well a sad story fot this artist, but i have been really interested, as i use very seldom textures seamless in texturing classical process,by the way he paint these textures… oh, and no, the second pict is a rhino render of the mesh…
merci pour les links , le deuxieme est magnifique.
Hi MArcel
Et alors Marcel, quand tu “Edit” ton Post, le bouton “URL” il se décarcasse pour nous
Tu l’enfonces
Tu entres l’adresse : Ok (Enter)
Tu entres n’importe quel texte : Ok (Enter)
Et tu as un truc du genre :
Le Douanier Rousseau c’est beau French English Spanish!!! Very nice site
Hope this help! C’est simple, rapide, Zen
Pilou
Ps
