very professional work, thanks for sharing I personally appreciate it and wish you more luck with your career ( so you can share more  ) … hahaha kidding.

Thanks so much for all the nice words guys! Sorry about the delay but I don’t like to revive threads without good reasons :).

Today I can show some new pictures of a character I did on Assassin’s creed his name is Garnier,
he’s a crazy surgeon! he’s one of the target, You can see the low res (which I also did) http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/834/834724/img_4893218.html

I used 3ds max 8 zbrush 2 and photoshop cs for the textures.

It looks good. Texture-wise I’d say the blood stain is the best part. :):+1:

awesome work, some crazy stuff for assassins creed:)

Super-impressive!

Fantastic! When Assassin Creed will be released? :+1:

Wow. Now his a grumpy old git isn’t he. Seems like he already deserves whats coming to him. haha.

SWEET! Good concept this one, details are great. btw, did someone concept this at Ubisoft or did you come up with all the variants yourself?

I have a question about the specular color map. How dose one go about making one. I mean is there a set color scheme that one is suppose to follow?
I guess it is a stupid question, but I see people doing it and I don’t understand why or how. Can some one please explain this to me? thank you

another question you typed that the characters or that the crowd characters where around 4500 poly’s per character. But in a article about the game on the Autodesk website they stated the following:

Assassin’s Creed features approximately 20 main characters and hundreds of secondary and crowd characters. After being modeled at very high resolutions, hero characters are reduced to approximately 3,000 polygons with 3 MB of textures each, while crowd characters have about 750 polygons each with 1.5 MB of textures attached.”

Which is true I’m trying to create a game mod that will have a similar environment so I would like to get more of a real pin point on the poly count to main characters and npcs.

here is the link to the information:

Too bad all this micro detail disappears in-game.

I’d have to disagree with you. The details are there, mostly anyway, it’s just that it is rare you get to be quite that up close and personal with the models in stillness. Usually, during the game, they are in motion, pausing only for a brief second or two. A lot of the detail does show through though, if you ever do any pick pocketing or just stare at the entry gaurds to a city for a time, you’ll see quite a bit.

You have done very impressive work.
I am also trying to make these type of textures but still my level is very low in texturing. I will do something in modeling but my texturing is crap :frowning:

I always inspired with you guys work…

Keep rocking…

how do you make skin look so realistic? is it a special sader? is there a special way that you paint the colors?

FANTABULOUS STUFF SIR …BE CONSTANT :+1:
