thx you my friends, yes it’s a bit different from my usual stuff but in a way or another linked, inspiration came from Narciso by Dalì (check it) and the intention was to make something similar to some surrealistic painting (antropomorph forms, atmosphere, colours) …anyway another direction to explore more in the future. I’m glad u like it.
man… i want that tiny submarine thingy in the “fantastic voyage” and have a look around inside your mind… Gnarley…!
Ahahah great bro, and a great movie have to see it again after so many years.
Pillars of Creation | Zbrush modeling, texturing, rendering + PSCS5.
Inspiration:
[…]“Pillars of Creation” is a photograph taken by the Hubble Telescope
of elephant trunks of interstellar gas and dust in the Eagle Nebula,
some 7,000 light years from Earth, and about ten light-years tall.
They are so named because the gas and dust are in the process of creating new stars,
while also being eroded by the light from nearby stars that have recently formed.[…]
Hope you like it.
Interesting piece, I should do more, this may inspire me.
Thx u DJ
cool! i like the combination of the metal and organic blobbies… and, one of my favourites of your latest works is lake II, beautiful, frightning, interesting…
Thx u kokor much appreciated, i’m glad u like the last two works. For sure i’ll make more works in the vein of Lake II
great stuff
i like the combination of the organic, fleshy, forms with the more geometric forms.

thx u Patpotlood, i like that mix too…biomechanics.
Daniele, your work - it is always a SHOCK!
In the best sense of the word.
thx u bro Always appreciated , i’m working on another work and i’ll post it very soon.
I especially admire your constant search for new ways.
One thing for sure: You need the basics (anatomy, etc.),
who starts without knowing this, it is difficult to achieve.
But then you should jump off the edge of the world, to find new exhibit expression in art.
Otherwise there is a flood of repeats, which you look, you may find good and forgets.
Many thanks for your constant search for more …!
Ciao,
TM
Thanks TM , i appreciate this a lot!
An innocent flower tonight maybe i’ll add this piece to the Garden of Delights series. Everything ZB plus PS for some colour corrections and blurred pollen - just play with the tools

great,
again something in an other direction.
your stuff is very inspiring.

Zbrush for everything (modeling, texturing, rendering both BPR and Best render and both in 2.5D and 3D). I used Zremesher for the biomechanical things. Photoshop for matte painting and final composition. Original size 70x50 at 300 dpi. It was a bit hard this time so comments are more than welcome and really hope u enjoy. P.S i consider it still a wip (maybe i’ll add some creatures in the future and some smoke effects in some parts but actually i’m satysfied as it is). Thanks for watching.
This is fantastic, maybe your best work. The foreground strata may look a bit “tacked in” to me, only because the colors don’t jive. In Photoshop, use some of the hue sat overlay layer tools and try to unify the colors across the painting, and I think it will then look absolutely masterful. I mean it, just wonderful work!
thanks for your precious point of view on this piece. I was a bit tired yesterday night while i was posting it so i need to refresh my mind and take my hands on it after some days.
I partially agree with you and a little retouch is needed but in the end i think it is ok actually, i could use variations in PS to give a general tone using one colour, maybe a blu filter
i’ve made some test and could be ok to make all parts well fitted… I would like to add some creatures in the vein of some W. Barlowe works the real goal was to put all my influences
in one artwork passing trough Giger, Beksinski and Barlowe just to name a few. Will see and thanks again for watching i appreciate it a lot.
Excellent, since you mentioned Wayne Douglas Barlowe I can’t stop imagining a cadre of Vasparian Nomads trekking across your landscape. Quite beautiful!
