Cool indeed. As always :+1:
Daniele, these star like topology on cross joins, after selecting and extracting loops is an issue.

These are sick man!

This is some really cool work. I noticed you’ve been doing a lot of this with 2.5D but have you tried rendering with micromesh in a similar manner/complexity? I’ve done some tests that aren’t this complex but on a similar path. You can have everything show up in the render or convert to 3D (system dependent  ) and then still drop to 2.5D if you want. Keep up the work, I’m really liking these pieces.

Thx u , so much appreciated, nice render with your Predator!

thx u, sometimes in my previous works what seems 2.5D is 3D instead and viceversa, i’ve used sometimes pixol to 3d plug in and in general displacement maps to achive and increase the complexity. Sometimes i split the general mesh in polygropus to add more subdivisions levels and sometimes i’ve use HD geometry too. So in the end Zbrush offers lots of possibilities to make intricated things …this is an Amazing software for sure, no limits at all except your imagination. Thx for stopping by and comments i appreciate it a lot!!!

Why did you remove the frame?
I love it.
Your works need such frames. (I think I already posted my experience on a wonderful exhibition of max ernst, more than thirty years ago. In the same gallery I use to present my work (a little proud for this he he ). The frames were an important part of the whole art piece. ( I was told that max was sometimes sculpting and / or painting them)

thx michalis, i’ve removed the frame cause i thought it didn’t fit properly as i wanted, i had to create my own in 3D and maybe printed in wood (metal is tooooo expensive) in the future…who knows but i’ve see on Zbc a agency that print busts and other models in wood (it is located in Bolzano, Italy)

Metal sheets on wood or any base material. I don’t know the exact term in english sorry.
Patinas after.

ah yes u can use a metal patinas after…silverlike or chrome…

I’m near to what i’ve in mind with these last experiments…just another doodle for now, hope u like it.

I love it.
wonderful composition. Simple and great. :+1:

thx u Mich i’m glad you like it, yes it is simple in its structure but hope effective

Wonderful, looks just creepy enough and challenging. Apply somewhere and make a book. :sunglasses:small_orange_diamond:+1:

grtz p

thx u guys and yes a book for some friends and for myself is planned (or a portfolio) , also because trust me: this works are great when printed on big formats (i’ve made some tests). Let’s see and thx for support as usual.
